Fox News suspends Newt Gingrich's and Rick Santorum's contracts

Fox News suspends the contracts of political contributors Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum because both have demonstrated that they are seriously considering running for president. A Fox News official says the channel will take the same action against Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin if they get closer to jumping into the race.

Sarah and Huck have to worry about losing their contracts if they don't announce that they aren't running soon.

Mitt, not so much.

Why wait Fox? Why not just suspend Huckabee now?

So, Rick S is running?

Does suspend mean they are not drawing a salary anymore or is it just that they won't be on as often?

"As soon as each of them shows some serious intention to form an exploratory committee, we would take the same action," Brandi said. "Huckabee is on a book tour, so I think his present intention is to sell books."

As for Palin, "She hasn't yet shown a serious intention to form an exploratory committee."

One wonders what Roger Ailes knows about their plans that would keep them from being suspended along with Newt and Rick.

Maybe it's true that they are really not running!
