Did Mike Huckabee take another shot at Mitt Romney?

According to MSNBC's Larry O'Donnell of 'The Last Word' Mike Huckabee made a comment indirectly aimed at Mitt Romney. HERE is a link to the O'Donnell piece.

Now the reason I'm not posting The O'Donnell video, is because I FEEL O'Donnell used his show, to further the attack on Romney's faith. I refuse to give him a platform here to do it.

Huckabee made a reference to polygamy which in the early years of the Mormon faith, was practiced by some members. O'Donnell didn't let it rest there, instead he went into this long dialog about his version of the history of the Mormon faith.

At any rate, I located the video segment O'Donnell was referring to without all his BS.

Judge for yourself. Was Huckabee's comment innocent or indirect slam on Romney and his faith?

Fast forward to the 1:20 Minute mark:

Yes, Huckabee's comment was a Romney slam, worded in such a way as to remind evangelicals about a past practice in the Mormon faith.

O'Donnell's commentary was a Romney and Mormon slam as well.

It's the difference between a maggot and a hypocritical maggot.

O'Donnell is a religious bigot from way back. Of course, as an ultra-Leftist, this isn't surprising. But he is a super-bigot when it comes to Mormonism.

Huckabee has the same problem, having once, according to one account, accused a family, who had donated some $40,000 to Huck's church before converting to the Mormon religion, of being "devil worshipers."

However, this particular interview was inoffensive. Mitt Romney himself has said he is appalled by polygamy, although the practice could become legal if gay marriage becomes the law of the land, and for precisely the same logic Huckabee used here.

There would be no legally defensible barrier against it at that point.

Sorry, but I don't see this one. I don't think that Huckabee was slamming Mormons at all here.

I don't see this one as an attack on Mitt Romney or the Mormon faith.

I've heard O'Reilly say the same things. And there is a bill in Utah's legislature to define marriage between one man and one woman. I would love to nail Huck on this, but I don't think this is a big deal on Huck's part. O'Donnell, however, should crawl back down the hole he crawled out of.

I dislike Mike Huckabee more than any other republican in the country, but I don't think he was attacking Mitt here.

I won't bother to watch this today. O'Donnell has slammed Romney/Mormons pretty heavily in the past. I believe it was Hugh Hewitt who actually forced him to admit that he dared to attack Mormons because they would not retaliate, unlike some people of other religious persuasions. Just be aware of O'Donnell when it comes to religious issues.
