Major Garrett: Republican's 2012 chances and Sarah Palin

I came across this interview of former Fox News Senior White House Correspondent and now the National Journal Hill correspondent Major Garrett.

Garrett left fox on good terms to return to his roots in print journalism. Unlike the snarky and typically biased Carl Cameron, I always found Garrett to be a class act.

In this Mediaite interview, Garret gives his take on the Obama's budget and his strategy on how Republicans should take back the White House:

Here he is commenting on a potential Sarah Palin candidacy:

I liked Garrett as well and agree about Cameron being biased.

Just look back at his Primary bias towards McCain in the 08 primaries.

I think he maybe right about going after those states Obama took from Republicans in 08. Without them, WE LOSE.

Pretty insightful analysis on the part of Major Garrett.

I guess I'm not the only one who thought Carl Cameron showed bias in 2008.

I always liked Major Garrett.

I agree with his view on Palin. Someone who is worried about details like bendable straws, will find it hard to run a National campaign. Palin doesn't seem like type that wants to be told, you've got to do this or you've got to be there. She wants her hands in everything.

zeke and Noelle,

When I made my snarky comment about Cameron, All I could think about was him slithering around McCain perhaps hoping to be his Press Secretary.
