With the instability in the mid-east and the riots in Egypt, cutting aide to Israel is THE LAST thing we should be doing.

Paul is nuts!

I agree with ConMan.

Now is not the time to abandon Israel.

Just turn on the TV tonight. Egypt is right next door.

We need to continue our good relationship with Israel.

Their best interests in the mid-east coincide with ours.

I agree!

This is not the time to start looking the other way in our relationship with Israel.

Especially in light of developments in Egypt.

I also agree!

Israel is our only real ally in the Middle East. If Egypt falls to radical extremist Muslims, Israel will need U.S. support and money more than ever. Israel is being surrounded by radical Musllim regimes (Lebanon, Syria, Hamas and now maybe Egypt). I just hope our buffoon in chief is as supportive of Israel as the people of the United States.

I agree also. We must continue to help Israel in all the ways we can.

Paul is way off on this.

We need Israel and they need us.

you all are very far off base. Do you not realize that we are BORROWING the money that we send in foreign aid? Let the countries that we normally provide aid to borrow the money and pay the interest instead of Joe Public in the US. This includes Israel (they probably have a better credit rating than us at this point anyways).
