House Passes Health Care Repeal 245-189

The House passed H.R. 2, a measure to repeal the health care law by a vote of 245-189.

Today’s vote is widely viewed as a symbolic gesture from the GOP since the measure is not expected go any further after Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) announced that he would not bring it up for consideration on the Senate floor.

If a bill passes in the house, I think the Senate should be forced to vote on it. Oh well, I guess they just won't fund it.
