Hawaii Senate votes to end daily prayers before sessions
Fearing a possible court challenge, Hawaii's state Senate has voted to silence the daily prayer offered before each session began—making it the first state legislative body in the nation to halt the practice.
After fighting they give up? Bad. After being challenged? Worse. Fearing a certain challenge? Worser.
'Fearing a possible challenge' they give up? Wow. Now that’s cowardice. I’m glad they’re not representing me. Hope Hawaiians can elect better people next election.

Another blow to displaying a belief in God.
These people are cowards.
It is really a shame that we've come to a point in society where publicly demonstrating a belief in God could be deemed offensive by some.
These people are pathetic.

Unfortunately, this is the direction society is heading.
They'll show kiddy porn on MTV, yet prayers at a puplic assembly is a problem.
