Huckabee released the following statement today on his PAC website.
"In a recent internet post, a contributor makes the claim that I supported cap-and-trade in late 2007 while running for President.Sorry, Mike. The video doesn't lie.
To put it simply, that's just not true.
If companies chose to participate voluntarily as part of their corporate policy, then fine. But I was clear that we could not force U.S. businesses to do what their Chinese counterparts refused to - and doing so would have been a serious job killer.
I understand this issue well, and I realize the potential damage that would occur if it passes because I was the chair of the 37 state-member Oil and Gas Compact Commission for 2 years. In fact, I led the state or Arkansas through the process of developing the Fayetteville Shale play of natural gas.
This kind of mandatory energy policy would have a horrible impact on this nation's job market. I never did support and never would support it - period."
From an October 13, 2007 speech at the Clean Air Cool Planet conference in Manchester, NH (If you want to skip to the money quote, fast forward to 2:08):
"I also support cap and trade of carbon emissions. And I was disappointed that the Senate rejected a carbon counting system to measure the sources of emissions, because that would have been the first and the most important step toward implementing true cap and trade."More HERE from Bloomberg.

Update: Allahpundit from Hot Air also has a post on this.
Update: Real Clear Politics is also holding Huck's feet to the fire.

Huck's done quite a bit of flipping to the right since he started his show. I'm convinced he probably would have supported the bailouts, if they'd happened while he was governor.
TOAST with a capital T.
Thanks for the H/T,
Well we all know what the topic of Huckabee's next show will be, I was not for Cap and trade.
Huckabee is a hypocrite! Fox will let him try a weasel his way out of it.
"Oh, I was talking about....." I didn't mean......"
zeke
WoW!
This looks like a private video. I wonder how much this fetched. I'll bet Huckabee and Fox would have paid more.
You won't here this mentioned on FOX.
They'll all keep their fingers crossed hoping that this will go away.
This has been posted on You Tube since 2007. Huck might want to familiarize himself with Google.
This is just another example of how Huck is allowed to flip flop without being labeled a flip-flopper. Same with Newt. Romney on the other hand has a different standard applied to him.
Uh-Oh....
RWN - Can we cross post this at ROS Friday morning....I'd very much like to get Craig-Iowa's perspective on this.
Love to see what kind of "Cut-N-Paste" excuses he can come up with.
I never have trusted the Huckster.
How about all the pardons he gave convicted felons? One of his pardoned criminals murdered again in Washington State....just this year!!
Lets keep Huckabee on Fox and out of the Whitehouse!

Absolutely.
RWN- It's up at ROS - I added a few pictures and few additional comments. Good job on this.
Doug, Thanks for leaving it open to anons. I'm sure I'll want to join in on the discussion later. I still can't rejoin after my banning. It seems as thought the site is dying anyway.
I also posted this at Free Republic and C4P, so it got plenty of exposure. As you can imagine the Freepers aren't huge fans of Huck.
