How very interesting. Sarah Palin's book tour will take her to Des Moines, IA on November 27th. Apparently, she'll be doing more than signing books that day.
The UK Guardian reports:
In the course of making arrangements for that tour, two aides organising Palin's visit to Des Moines on 27 November told locals they were looking into office space and other logistical needs for the coming year, the Guardian has learned.

Some of her staff now appear to be putting the pieces in place in case Palin does decide to run. One of the aides, who only eats kosher food, told a local rabbi he was looking into longer term arrangements in Iowa.This alone does not guarantee that she will run for president, but it confirms that she's seriously considering it.
"He was looking to be able to accommodate the needs of those coming down looking to set up shop here for campaigning in the coming years," said Yossi Jacobson of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement in Des Moines.
Others in Des Moines suggested Palin might be seeking a base from which to solidify her power within the Republican party, after successfully campaigning for a number of conservative Tea Party candidates during the mid-term elections. "It will be more than just a book signing – I am sure," said Jacobson.

A candidate with 100% name recognition and unlimited free press can set up shop later than most. Given that the IA caucus is 14 months away,
I think she has plenty of time.
Huckabee is the key. Acquiring office space is another signal to Huck that there won't be room in the pool, or as Huck put it, "no water in it." If he doesn't run, Palin takes Iowa. If she takes Iowa, she most likely takes SC, along a respectable 2nd place showing in NH and NV.
The above scenario assumes Romney runs....

Palin is no George Bush and she's certainly no Ronald Reagan. So layoff the comparisons unless you want to use, Ozzie Ozborne. He had a self indulgent reality show as well.

When Ozzie Osborne become elected Governor, gets nominated for VP, and leads in a number of polls for the 2012 Rep. nomination, you are free to make that comparison. Until then, that argument diminishes your cause. I encourage you, Rove, and the others to keep it up. It makes her stronger.
Palin is no Reagan, but she’s the closest thing to him that’s (probably) running. Her principles and policies are Constitutional conservative, always have been, always will be, and therefore she’s also consistent like President Reagan.
Btw, the Revolution in 2010 was because of the TPM and Palin.
The Revolution in 2012 will also be because of the TPM and Palin.
Not because of a mushy middle, moderate, centrist, compromiser.
