Mitt Romney Leads the field in new Gallup Poll (11-16-10)

 From Gallup:
In general, Republicans (including Republican-leaning independents) are at least twice as likely to identify as conservative as they are to identify as moderate or liberal. Thus, it is crucial for any potential Republican candidate to appeal to conservatives, especially given the Tea Party movement's influence in deciding nominations for Congress in 2010.
More information about the poll can be found HERE.

Top with moderate/liberals

I thought Romney was an anathama in the GOP and dead because of health care.

When exactly is that supposed to kick in?

Doug,

I think it's one of those cases when Palin and Huckabee supporters think if they say it enough times, maybe it will be true.

Great!

More good news for Romney.

Doug, if it doesn't kick in during the primaries and Romney manages to win the nomination...then it will kick in during the general when he will be silenced on that issue and the hard work of all of the grassroots and the Republican party will be diminished and for naught as soon as the first political ad comes out and during the debates when Obama says they based ObamaCare on MassCare.

JR,

I see links to Gallup where you can see any additional information you want. 'I wonder why' you mentioned it not being mentioned?
