George W. Bush: Sarah Palin not qualified to be President

These are 2 excerpts from a NY Daily News Article

The 43rd President has told friends the ex-Alaska governor isn't qualified to be President and criticizes Arizona Sen. John McCain for putting Palin on the 2008 GOP ticket and handing her a national platform.

“He thinks McCain ran a lousy campaign with an unqualified running mate and destroyed any chance of winning by picking Palin"

On a seperate note, here is an excerpt from an upcoming Oprah Winfrey Show:

I think her quitting has a lot to do with it. He even talks about the pressure that Obama is under and refuses to bad mouth him. He knows the job of POTUS is tough. He also knows, that you can't walk away from it once you make the commitment by taking the oath of office.

Notice how the irrelevant Palin gets more and more relevant as time goes by?

Bush doesn’t surprise me, as Rove, being part of the establishment. He needs to read up on Presidential qualifications. The Obama he won’t bad mouth had a lot less than Palin. Bush is a big government guy and big spender, second only to Obama. Of course he’d prefer an establishment candidate.

We need a Constitutional conservative as President. The new Republican party.

The primaries will be the ‘Cocktail party’ Republican vs. the ‘Tea party’ Republican.
The Presidential election will be the Mommy vs. the Commie.

I don't think there's anything to this story. Who's the source? I have some info on this. A post will be up later.

Although I agree that she's not qualified, the fact that there it is hearsay makes me wonder if Bush really said it. It doesn't fit his MO

I don't know what the big deal is. If he said it, he's only reflecting what the majority of Americans think.

I liked President Bush. We all knew we were safe with him as President. I have lost that feeling with Obama.
