Should Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, and Jim DeMint, leave Joe Miller alone?

Two recent polls have indicated that Alaskan Republican Senate candidate Joe Miller's numbers are sinking faster than an elephant in quicksand.

The Hays Research Poll (October 25th to 26th, 2010):
(Click results below for full anaysis of each poll)

Hellenthal Research Poll (October 25th to 27th, 2010):

It is obvious that there is hard feelings there between Republicans who backed Lisa Murkowski and those who backed Joe Miller.

Do Palin, Huckabee, and DeMint, really need to remind voters and especially independents, that outsiders are trying again to influence the outcome of this election.

It seems to me, that this might be looked upon by some as in your face, vote for who WE want, And Miller might benefit from their absence instead.

What do you think?

I don't think Palin is viewed as an outsider in Alaska.

Joe won the primary fairly. The ‘old boys club’ in Alaska doesn’t like it; Lisa is entitled don’t you know. I think Palin does well to back Miller. Good for the state, and good for the country.

Murky will be just another Republican on her knees with her hands out for money from D.C. - with all the strings attached. Maybe good for the short run and getting reelected. But bad for the long run, as in our future generations.

Good point!

I think Miller has better odds of winning if Alaskans are left alone.

Huckabee & DeMint are not going to convince anyone who is not convinced already to vote for Miller. If anything, it might aggravate those who are still undecided.

I don't think it matters at this point. Joe has hung himself, and I really don't think he can pull it off.

I'm taking a lot of pleasure in seeing him go down the drain.

Add O'Donnell in Delaware to the list for Palin. Latest poll numbers show Crist gaining again against Rubio. Wasn't she just there for him as well?

Fiorina did the wise thing avoiding her in California. Maybe that's why she's still in it?

I think Palin means well. Unfortunately, those who dislike her, really dislike her with a passion.

I agree that there are some races like those mentioned in the comments here where Palin's backing of a candidate, left hard feelings among Republicans.

If your a purple or blue state, Palin's endorsement could be toxic especially among moderates and independents
