Karl Rove Goes To War With Sarah Palin!

Here is the article that is quoted in the above video. I posted the link in yesterday's Slow Days News thread and decided it deserved it's own thread.

I don't believe Palin is running. In her interview yesterday with Entertainment Tonight, I got the vibe that she is hoping someone else steps to the plate. I know she is fond of Mitt Romney and it wouldn't surprise me if HE was on her mind as she gave the following interview:

I agree. I think Palin is fond of Romney. I hope she remains out of the race. I really think she sunk her ship when she said that "she does on want to be in some ole political office." This comment is aired regularly on TLC. That as good as saying she does not want to be in the WH.

I didn't see Rove dissing Palin. She's energetic (check), If she ran, she would be formidable (check), He TV endeavors lead many to believe that's the road she's traveling on (check).

This is the lib media trying to turn Republicans on one another. Rove gave an opinion, shared by many. It's his job to give an opinion. Not tell people what they think they should be hearing.

I believe Palin and Rove like Romney. I don’t think Rove likes Palin. Rove is old establishment Republican, Palin is new Tea Party Republican. I think Rove and the GOP establishment in general have picked Romney (and maybe a couple of others - just in case) to be their candidate. Palin is too unpredictable and ‘just won’t listen’.

I don’t blame Mitt for being picked by the establishment; I don’t think Sarah would turn them down. This helps Mitt in the conventional ways, but I think hurts him with the TPM. At this point, I don't think anybody knows what that will mean for him.

Bill, Romney is doing well with the tea party. He won 2 recent polls among tea partiers. He's got all the bases covered, it seems.

People assume that Palin is thinking like a normal person - but she's not normal. She is a politician, and craves power just like most do. And she's quite a bit more narcissistic than anyone besides Obama. Just look at her actions since the '08 campaign. She has inserted herself into everything possible. She can't resist the limelight 24/7. It is not a 'servant's heart' that compels Palin, but a hunger for never-ending attention.

Her fans will not be placated if she doesn't run. I don't think she will be able to resist the true believers calling for her to run, and persuading her that she can win.

I didn't get the idea in this video, or others, that she is not going to run, but I do think she needs to leave the option out there at least until her next book tour is over. I'm sure she's looking forward to the adoring crowds chanting that she must run.

Palin has a servant’s heart. The reason why she’s out in front of everything is because she’s a natural leader. She leads in order to serve.

Others talk about how they'll serve us - Sarah shows us how she'll serve us.

Bill,

Palin is a natural, "CHEERLEADER". We don't need a cheerleader, we need a quarterback.

Romney in 2012!
