Hypocrite Democrats Say ‘no one is above the law’ — Except For Ilhan Omar; Ilhan Omar’s Husband Snaps Over Allegations She Fled US After DC Home was Raided by Feds

Hypocrite Democrats say ‘no one is above the law’ — except for Ilhan Omar:
One of the foundational ideals of a free nation is that all its citizens live under the same rules.
Democrats know this: They’ve been lecturing us for years that “no one is above the law.”
So what happens if a federal investigation into Rep. Ilhan Omar provides incontrovertible evidence that she obtained citizenship by lying?
Should we ignore it?
Should Omar be given an exemption from the law because she’s in Congress?
Or because she’s a Democrat?
Those on the left carping that the Omar investigation is politically motivated can’t be taken seriously.
Not after they spent a decade engaged in blatant lawfare — first by attempting to annul the 2016 election of Donald Trump by concocting one lurid conspiracy theory after the next, and then by trying to stop him from running for the presidency in 2024.
When you spend your time stripping away norms, you can’t expect the other side to unilaterally disarm.
The court and the Justice Department debated the warrant to search Omar’s residences for weeks before it was finally issued, The New York Times reported.
Courts are in a separate branch of government for an important reason, and they should be highly suspicious of any case that appears to involve abuse of the legal system for political reasons.
But the fact that a Biden-era US magistrate judge in Washington, DC, believed there was probable cause for a raid tells us that there’s at least something here worth investigating.
Or, as Rep. Ted Lieu once said to defend the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago, “before a grand jury indicts anyone, they need evidence. Searches are a way to get evidence. Get it?”
We do.
There are two issues at hand.
The more serious one is whether Omar’s father obtained his citizenship by lying about both himself and his daughter.
Nur Omar Mohamed brought his Somali family members to the United States from a refugee camp in Kenya in 1995.
The late patriarch’s story about fleeing persecution looks dubious.
Indeed, he may well have been a soldier loyal to Somali dictator Siad Barre and a participant in the persecution. --->READ MORE HERE
Ilhan Omar’s husband snaps over allegations she fled US after DC home was raided by feds:
While Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., has not been seen publicly since federal agents raided her Washington, D.C., residence on Monday, her political consultant husband was once again spotted emerging from their shared rental home this week.
Tim Mynett was seen Wednesday stepping out in the neighborhood to walk their Golden Labrador Retriever dog Teddy, a second time later that same day to take out the trash and a third time to walk out his wife’s staffer.
“There are rumors that the congresswoman left the country, is that true?” Mynett was asked while on an evening walk with Teddy.
“You guys are annoying the hell out of all the neighbors around here, man,” he told Fox News Digital when approached about the developments this week, including President Donald Trump weighing in on the saga.
One of Omar’s congressional staffers was captured the same day bringing into the couple’s home two large bags from fast food chain Burger King. Security escorted her to the door and staked out in front of the house after she entered with the meal.
Rumors swirled that Omar fled from the country following the raid carried out by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) as part of a criminal fraud investigation looking into the Somali-born congresswoman’s immigration paperwork, as first reported by Fox News Digital.
Omar’s cellphone and passport were reportedly seized by federal authorities during the search.
The congresswoman’s staff helped to get her birth year adjusted from 1981 to 1982 in the Minnesota Legislative Reference Library, according to reporters. Omar gained citizenship automatically through her father’s naturalization since she was reportedly 17 years old at the time. If Omar was born in 1981, she would have been 18 years old, meaning the validity of her citizenship could be threatened because she was no longer a minor.
The altered birthdate was published during her entire time serving in Minnesota’s House and for months into her time serving in Congress.
When asked about the federal investigation earlier this week, Mynett told Fox News Digital he has “no concerns” about what federal authorities will find on his wife while investigating her immigration pathway.
“My wife came here when she was 12 years old as a child war refugee,” Mynett said. “No concerns.”
His comments to Fox News Digital come after Omar’s relatives were reportedly issued subpoenas as part of HSI’s investigation into the congresswoman’s immigration paperwork. At least two of Omar’s relatives were subpoenaed, one of which is reportedly Omar’s sister, Sahra Noor. --->READ MORE HERE
