Geezer Gunners: Illegal Cuban Migrants, 89 and 73, Busted for Drug Trafficking, Stashing Arms; Illegal Immigrants, 89 and 73, Accused of Armed Drug Trafficking Decades After Sneaking into US

Geezer gunners: Illegal Cuban migrants, 89 and 73, busted for drug trafficking, stashing arms:
Two Cuban-born illegal immigrants who’ve racked up lengthy rap sheets in the US over decades are behind bars after being busted by Miami police for allegedly selling drugs and stashing stolen guns.
Cesar Valdes, 89, and Magdaleno Medina, 73, have been in the US illegally for more than 46 years, arriving on separate days in 1980 when Jimmy Carter was still president, Fox News reported.
The seniors’ recent troubles began Aug. 19 when an undercover cop bought $60 worth of cocaine from Medina at their home, according to the Miami Herald.
On Sept. 9, cops returned with members of the SWAT team and a search warrant.
Valdes was there, and police also found ammunition, stolen firearms, more than $4,800 and dozens of clear bags containing 141 grams of cocaine and 1,278 grams of weed.
Both men were slapped with multiple criminal charges, including armed cocaine trafficking and grand theft of a firearm.
They pleaded not guilty and are being held in a Miami jail while subject to ICE detainers.
Their lawyers with the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office declined comment.
The illegal immigrants entered the country without inspection near Key West, Florida, on different days in May 1980, the US Customs and Immigration Enforcement told Fox News. --->READ MORE HERE

Illegal immigrants, 89 and 73, accused of armed drug trafficking decades after sneaking into US:
Cesar Valdes and Magdaleno Medina had been in the country illegally for more than 45 years, ICE says
Two illegal immigrants from Cuba with criminal records are behind bars after police say they were selling drugs and had stolen guns.
After their arrests, Cesar Valdes, 89, and Magdaleno Medina, 73, were found to have been in the country illegally for more than 45 years.
Their recent trouble began after the Miami Police Department sent an undercover officer to purchase $60 in cocaine from Medina Aug. 19, according to court records.
After Medina allegedly sold the officer the drug, police returned to the "trailer" Sept. 9 with a narcotics search warrant. They found Valdes there, too.
In their search, officers said they found dozens of clear bags of cocaine and marijuana, ammunition, stolen guns and more than $4,800.
The men entered the country without inspection near Key West, Florida, on different days in May 1980, an ICE spokesman told Fox News Digital.
Medina has four prior felony convictions in the United States for cocaine smuggling, drug possession and drug trafficking, an ICE spokesman said. An immigration judge issued him a final order of exclusion July 24, 1996.
Final orders of exclusion were decisions made by immigration judges and issued before April 1997. That’s when a new system of removal proceedings began, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
The details of Medina’s prior arrests and convictions were unavailable. It was unclear whether he spent any time in jail. --->READ MORE HERE
