Ukrinform reports this, citing operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10 p.m. on September 29, 2026, posted on Facebook.
“Overall, since the beginning of this day, there have been 189 combat engagements. The aggressor launched one missile strike and carried out 46 airstrikes using 172 guided glide bombs, deployed 5,763 kamikaze drones for strikes, and carried out 1,938 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas,” the General Staff said.
According to the General Staff, one enemy assault has been reported since the beginning of the day on the North Slobozhansky and Kursk axes. The invaders carried out one airstrike using four guided glide bombs and launched 45 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, four of them using multiple rocket launchers.
On the South Slobozhansky axis, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions five times in the directions of Starytsia, Okhrimivka, Mala Vovcha and Vilkhuvatka. One of these attacks is still ongoing.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy made one attempt to improve its position by conducting an assault in the direction of Putnykove.
Seven attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled on the Lyman axis near Shyikivka, Novoselivka, Zarichne, Drobysheve and Dibrova. The battle is ongoing.
On the Sloviansk axis, the Defense Forces stopped four attempts by the invaders to advance near Ozerne, Pyskunivka and Mykolaivka. One enemy assault is ongoing.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy conducted no assault operations.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the Defense Forces repelled 20 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka and in the directions of Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Novoselivka, Rozkishne, Stepanivka, Toretske, Vilne, and Kuchерiv Yar.

Seven attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled on the Lyman direction in the areas of the populated areas of Shyikivka, Novoselivka, Zarichne, Drobysheve, and Dibrova.
On the Sloviansk direction , the Defense Forces stopped the invaders' attempts to advance four times in the area of the populated areas of Ozerne, Pyskunivka, and Mykolaivka.
On the Kramatorsk direction , the enemy did not conduct assault operations.
