On the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions , the enemy carried out three attacks. In addition, they launched four airstrikes using 12 guided aerial bombs and conducted 49 shellings of our troops' positions and populated areas, including four using multiple launch rocket systems.
During the day on the South-Slobozhanskyi direction , the enemy stormed the positions of our units 17 times near Kozacha Lopan, Radkivka, Volokhivka, Starytsia, Izbystske, and Ivashchyna.
On the Kupiansk direction , no assault actions by the enemy were recorded.
Twelve attempts by the invaders to advance were recorded on the Lyman direction in the areas of Lyman, Ozerne, Andriivka, Novomykhailivka, Shyikivka, Novoselivka, and Dibrova; three combat engagements are ongoing.
On the Sloviansk direction , the Defense Forces successfully stopped 14 attempts by the invaders to advance near Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Riznykivka; another three combat engagements are ongoing.
Three enemy assaults were recorded on the Kramatorsk direction in the areas of Pryvilne and Yurkivka.
On the Kostiantynivka direction , the Defense Forces repelled 13 enemy assaults near Ivanopillia, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Stepanivka; one more combat engagement is ongoing.
A total of 23 attacks were repelled on the Pokrovsk direction . During the past 24 hours, Ukraine's Defense Forces engaged Russian troops in 193 combat clashes, with the largest number of enemy attacks recorded in the Pokrovsk sector.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook in its operational update as of 22:00 on Saturday, August 1, according to Ukrinform.
"Since the beginning of the day, there have been 193 combat engagements. The enemy launched three missile strikes using 31 missiles, carried out 66 airstrikes, and dropped 201 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 6,659 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,381 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions," the statement said.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces launched three attacks. They also carried out four airstrikes using 12 guided bombs and shelled Ukrainian positions and settlements 49 times, including four attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops launched 17 assaults near Kozacha Lopan, Radkivka, Volokhivka, Starytsia, Izbytske, and Ivashchyne.
No enemy assault operations were recorded in the Kupiansk sector.
In the Lyman sector, Russian forces attempted to advance 12 times near Lyman, Ozerne, Andriivka, Novomykhailivka, Shyikivka, Novoselivka, and Dibrova. Three engagements were still ongoing at the time of reporting.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 14 Russian attacks near Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Riznykivka. Three battles continued.
Three enemy assaults were recorded in the Kramatorsk sector near Pryvilne and Yurkivka.
