A total of 225 combat engagements between Ukraine's Defense Forces and Russian troops were recorded along the front line on July 3, with the enemy launching the most intensive assaults in the Sloviansk and Kostiantynivka sectors.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook in its operational update as of 22:00.
"Since the beginning of the day, a total of 225 combat engagements have taken place. The aggressor launched 57 airstrikes using 161 guided aerial bombs, deployed 6,393 kamikaze drones, and carried out 2,194 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas," the statement said.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, six combat engagements took place, with three still ongoing. Russian forces carried out 47 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including one using a multiple launch rocket system.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops launched 13 assaults near Khatnie, Lyman, Starytsia, and Artilne, as well as toward Izbytske and Bochkove. Two engagements are still underway.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces carried out three attacks toward Novoosynove and near Kolisnykivka and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine enemy attempts to advance toward Shyikivka, Stavky, Drobysheve, Dibrova, and near Ozerne.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukraine’s Defense Forces successfully repelled 24 Russian assaults toward Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and near Riznykivka and Zakitne. One engagement is still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces launched one attack toward Malynivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 24 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, and Stepanivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian troops launched 17 attacks, attempting to advance near Nykanorivka, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Rodynske, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Muravka, as well as toward Ivanivka, Shevchenko, and Serhiivka. Nine attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled in the Lyman direction towards the populated areas of Shyikivka, Stavky, Drobysheve, Dibrova, and in the area of Ozerne.
In the Sloviansk direction , the Defense Forces successfully stopped 24 attempts by the invaders to advance towards the populated areas of Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and in the area of Riznykivka and Zakitne. One more combat engagement is currently ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction , the Russian invaders carried out one attack towards Malynivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction , the Defense Forces repelled 24 enemy assaults in the areas of the populated areas of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Stepanivka.
The enemy carried out seventeen attacks in the Pokrovsk direction . The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of the populated areas of Nikanorivka, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Rodynske, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, and towards the populated areas of Ivanivka, Shevchenko, Serhiivka.
