War update: 214 combat clashes on front line since morning:

A total of 214 combat engagements took place along the frontline, with Russian forces concentrating their offensive efforts on the Kostiantynivka, Sloviansk, and Pokrovsk sectors.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this in an operational update as of 22:00 on July 6, 2026 on Facebook.

Since the beginning of the day the enemy has launched one missile strike using 68 missiles, carried out 62 airstrikes involving 179 guided aerial bombs, deployed 5,733 kamikaze drones, and conducted 2,208 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, eight combat engagements took place, with two still ongoing. Russian forces carried out 27 attacks on settlements and Ukrainian positions, including one strike using a multiple launch rocket system.

During the day, in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, Russian troops launched six assaults near Vovchansk, Starytsia, and toward Volokhivka, Izbytske, and Chaikivka. Two clashes are still underway.

No offensive actions were recorded in the Kupiansk direction.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 Russian attempts to advance near Yampil, Nadiia, Novoselivka, and toward Borova, Stavky, Drobysheve, Lyman, Ozerne, and Dibrova. Three engagements are still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces successfully stopped 23 Russian assaults toward Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and near Riznykivka and Zakitne.

No Russian offensive activity was recorded in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 25 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, and toward Stepanivka, Toretske, Kucheriv Yar, and Vilne. One battle is still in progress.
