Since the start of the current 24-hour period on June 11, there have been 199 combat engagements along the front line. Russian terrorist forces launched one missile strike using two missiles and carried out 77 airstrikes, dropping 200 guided bombs. In addition, the enemy used 6,356 kamikaze drones for attacks and carried out 2,545 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.
Situation by sector:
- In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors today, the enemy launched one airstrike using three guided bombs and carried out 41 shelling attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions.
- In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units six times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Odradne, Lyman, and toward Kolodyazne and Okhrimivka.
- In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces once today in the direction of the settlement of Bohuslavka.
- In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 16 attempts by the invaders to advance in the area of Novoselivka and toward Drobysheve, Ozerny, Lyman, Shyikivka, and Stepove. One engagement is ongoing.
- In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled seven attempts by the invaders to advance toward the settlements of Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and in the Zakytne area.
- In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.
- Defense forces repelled six enemy assaults in the Kostyantynivka sector near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Kostyantynivka, and Illinivka. Two more clashes are currently ongoing.
- In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 39 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of the settlements of Zatyishok, Novooleksandrivka, Muravka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, and toward the settlements of Novyi Donbas, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Dorozhne, Vilne, and Novopavlivka. --->READ MORE HERE
On the front of 199 combat clashes, in the Pokrovsky direction, the Russians carried out 49 attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces, losing almost 60 occupiers.
This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 22:00 on 08.06.2026 on Facebook .
