The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on June 28 regarding the Russian invasion.
In total , 197 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day. The enemy launched one missile strike, used eight missiles, carried out 51 air strikes, dropped 147 guided bombs. In addition, it involved 5,366 kamikaze drones for destruction and carried out 1,763 shelling of settlements and positions of our troops.
Two clashes with the enemy were recorded in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions. The enemy carried out 68 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including five using multiple launch rocket systems.
During this day, in the South Slobozan direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units three times in the Staritsa area and towards the settlements of Izbitske and Vilcha. One clash is ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction today, the enemy twice attacked the positions of the Defense Forces towards the settlements of Podyly and Novoplatonivka.
To advance in the Lyman direction, the invaders carried out 15 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Novoselivka, Zarichne, Yampil and towards the settlements of Stavky, Drobysheve, and Lyman.
In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces stopped 24 attempts by the invaders to advance near Zakitne, Kalenykivka, Riznykivka, and towards the settlements of Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka. Two more clashes are ongoing.
According to updated information, no enemy assault actions were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 11 enemy assaults near the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, and Pleshchiivka. One clash is still ongoing.
In total, the enemy carried out 24 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Dorozhne, Novooleksandrivka, Vasylivka, Rodynske, Udachne, Filiya and towards the settlements of Vilne, Bilytske, Novy Donbas, Bilyakivka, Kucheriv Yar, Shevchenko, Muravka. The enemy carried out the most attacks in the Pokrovsk direction - 24, in the Sloviansk direction - 24, Huliaipole - 23, Lyman - 15, and Kostiantynivka - 11. No assaults were recorded in the Kramatorsk, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovsk directions.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian troops, according to preliminary data, eliminated 26 occupiers and wounded another 14. Also, a fuel and lubricants depot was destroyed, six units of equipment were destroyed, and 210 drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
