During the past day, 196 combat engagements were recorded at the front. The highest enemy activity was observed in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions, where the invaders carried out over 50 assaults. This was reported by the General Staff of Ukraine, according to UNN.

In the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions , one combat engagement took place; the enemy launched one air strike using 1 KAB (guided aerial bomb) and carried out 64 shellings of settlements and our troops' positions, five of which involved multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction , the occupiers stormed the defensive lines of our units five times near Vovchanski Khutory and in the direction of Okhrimivka. Three combat engagements are ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction , the invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces once toward the settlement of Hlushkivka.

In the Lyman direction , Ukrainian warriors successfully repelled 15 enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Stavky, Dibrova, and toward Shyikivka and Lyman. One more combat engagement remains active.

In the Sloviansk direction , the Defense Forces completely neutralized eight attempts by the invaders to break forward near Zakitne, Riznykivka, and toward the settlements of Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka. Two more combat engagements are ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction , our defenders stopped one offensive action by the occupation forces toward Tykhonivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction , the Defense Forces successfully repelled 15 enemy assaults in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Pleshchiivka, Rusyniv Yar, and Illinivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction , the enemy conducted 26 attacks. The occupiers tried to break through our defenses in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, and toward the settlements of Novyi Donbas, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Bilytske, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka. Frontline update: 196 combat engagements as Russia launches 50 airstrikes:

Russian forces have attacked the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces 196 times since the beginning of the day.

According to Ukrinform, the information comes from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s operational update as of 22:00 on Saturday, June 7.

“Since the beginning of the day, 196 combat engagements have been recorded along the front line. Throughout the day, the aggressor carried out 50 airstrikes, employing 148 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 6,242 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,338 attacks with various types of weaponry against our positions and nearby settlements,” the statement said.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, one combat engagement took place. The enemy carried out one airstrike using a guided bomb and launched 64 attacks against settlements and Ukrainian positions, including five using multiple-launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian forces launched five assaults near Vovchanski Khutory and toward Okhrimivka. Three engagements were still ongoing at the time of reporting.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops carried out one attack toward Hlushkivka.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 enemy attempts to advance near Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Stavky, Dibrova, and toward Shyikivka and Lyman. One battle remain active.
