War update: 148 clashes on front line, heaviest fighting on Pokrovsk sector
There were 148 combat engagements on the front line, with Russian forces carrying out 22 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Pokrovsk sector, where they have lost more than 50 personnel.
This was reported by Ukrinform, citing operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 22:00 on June 24, 2026, published on Facebook.
“A total of 148 combat engagements took place since the beginning of the day. The enemy carried out 42 air strikes, dropping 153 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they used 5,778 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,185 shelling attacks on settlements and Ukrainian positions,” the statement said.
According to the General Staff, four combat engagements were recorded in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, two of which are still ongoing. The enemy carried out 48 strikes on settlements and Ukrainian positions.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy launched 11 assaults on Ukrainian positions near Veterynarne, Starytsia, Synelnykove, and toward Lyman, Izbytske, Vilkha, and Kolodiazne. Three engagements are still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attacked once near Novoosynove.
In the Lyman sector, Russian forces carried out 13 attacks toward Shyikivka, Drobysheve, Lyman, Ozerne, Novoselivka, and Dibrova.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 14 assaults near Zakitne, Riznykivka, Kalynivka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka. Four engagements are ongoing.
One enemy assault was recorded in the Kramatorsk sector near Tykhonivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 14 assaults near Ivanopillia, Illinivka, and toward Kostiantynivka. One engagement is still ongoing.
A total of 22 attacks were carried out in the Pokrovsk sector. Russian forces attempted to advance near Sukhetske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Dorozhnie, Rodynske, Udachne, Novopidhorodnie, and Filiia, as well as toward Bilytske, Shevchenko, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka. Situation on the main routes
Since the beginning of the day, 148 combat clashes have occurred at the front.
The enemy carried out 42 air strikes, dropped 153 guided bombs, deployed 5,778 kamikaze drones, and carried out 2,185 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops.
Four clashes were recorded in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions , and the enemy launched 48 attacks.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 11 times in the areas of Veterinarne, Starytsia, Synelnyky and towards Lyman, Izbitsky, Vilcha and Kolodyazne.
In the Kupyansk direction, one attack attempt was recorded in the direction of Novoosinovoye.
In the Lyman direction, the invaders attacked 13 times in the direction of Shyykivka, Drobyshevye, Lyman, Ozernye, Novoselivka, and Dibrova.
In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces stopped 14 attacks near Zakitne, Riznykovka, Kalenkypy and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryvaya Luka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, one assault was recorded near Tikhonivka.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 14 enemy assaults near Ivano-Frankivsk, Illinivka, and in the direction of Kostyantynivka.
The largest number of attacks was in the Pokrovsky direction : 22 assaults in the areas of Sukhetske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Dorozhne, Rodynske, Udachne and other settlements.
