Of course: John Brennan loves Islam and hates America.
On The View on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, far-left strategist Symone D. Sanders said to former CIA director John Brennan: “Iran, they are an authoritarian regime who’s known to lie.” Brennan responded: “Well, I tend to believe Iran more than I do Donald Trump, because he could not acknowledge the truth even when it—he’s slapped in the face with it repeatedly.” In tacitly endorsing Iran’s bloodthirsty Islamic regime, Brennan thus reveals the truly sinister depth of his hatred for Trump, and not just of Trump, but of America itself.
Brennan was making no earth-shattering revelation. His true allegiances have been known since 2016, when he revealed that as a young man, he had voted for Communist Party presidential candidate Gus Hall. “This was back in 1980,” Brennan explained, “and I thought back to a previous election where I voted, and I voted for the Communist Party candidate.”
Later, when he entered the CIA, Brennan was afraid his Communist vote might be an obstacle to his advancement within the agency. “I said I was neither Democratic or Republican, but it was my way, as I was going to college, of signaling my unhappiness with the system, and the need for change. I said I’m not a member of the Communist Party.” Lots of young people registered their unhappiness with the system without voting for a Communist, but that explanation was good enough for the CIA.
Like so many other people on the far left these days, Brennan loves Islam. In a 2010 speech, he spoke so fulsomely about “the goodness and beauty of Islam” that rumors circulated that he had converted to Islam, which his office denied. Former FBI agent John Guandolo, however, maintains that Brennan actually converted to Islam, saying: “The facts (are)…confirmed by U.S. government officials who were also in Saudi Arabia at the time that John Brennan was serving …they were direct witnesses to his growing relationships with individuals who work with the Saudi government and they witnessed his conversion to Islam.”
If Brennan really is a Muslim, it would explain why he is more ready to take the word of the mullahs of the Islamic Republic over that of Donald Trump, but this may simply be a reflection of his incandescent hatred for the occupant of the Oval Office. Brennan was one of the chief exponents of the Russia Hoax, the large-scale Democrat attempt to frame Trump as a tool of Vladimir Putin, and thereby destroy his presidency.
Back in July 2025, one of Brennan’s former employees at the CIA, Bryan Dean Wright, wrote in Fox News on Thursday that Brennan “lied about his use of the discredited Steele dossier.” While telling the media that he didn’t think much of the dossier, which claimed that Putin had evidence of compromising behavior Trump supposedly engaged in while in Moscow, Brennan “specifically pushed for the inclusion of the dossier in the ICA,” that is, the CIA’s Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA). He did so “despite explicit warnings from his top operational and analytical management that the dossier ‘didn’t meet the most basic [of] tradecraft standards.’ Brennan said he didn’t care.” --->READ MORE HEREEx-CIA Director John Brennan slammed for saying he believes Iran more than Trump: ‘Terrorists over the USA’:
Former CIA Director John Brennan was panned by the White House and social media users Tuesday for wild comments suggesting Iran is more trustworthy than President Trump.
Brennan – one of the 51 ex-intelligence officials who claimed in an infamous letter that The Post’s bombshell scoop on Hunter Biden’s laptop emails was part of a “Russian information operation” – cast doubt on Trump’s claim that negotiations were underway with Tehran to end the war, during an appearance on MS NOW Monday.
The Iranian regime has denied it is talking to the Trump administration, prompting MS NOW host Symone Sanders – who noted she is “wary of taking the word of Iran … an authoritarian regime that’s known to lie” – to ask Brennan about what could be happening.
“Well, I tend to believe Iran more than I do Donald Trump,” Brennan responded.
The ex-spy accused Trump of “flailing” and being unlikely to negotiate with “anybody speaking authoritatively right now on behalf of the Iranian government.”
Brennan, who is under criminal investigation for his alleged role in the “treasonous conspiracy” to peddle claims that Trump’s campaign colluded with the Russian government ahead of the 2016 presidential election, was slammed for taking Iran’s word over the president’s.
“Believing a terrorist regime that has chanted ‘Death to America’ for decades over the United States of America is shameful and Trump Derangement Syndrome at work,” White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly told The Post. --->READ MORE HERE
