During February 3, 137 clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders occurred at the front, with the enemy most actively trying to operate in the Pokrov and Hulyaipil directions.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook , publishing data on the situation as of 10:00 p.m., Ukrinform reports.
"Since the beginning of the day, 137 combat clashes have taken place. The enemy launched two missile strikes, using 72 missiles, 38 air strikes, and dropped 83 guided bombs. In addition, it used 5,295 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,904 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops," the report says.
In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions today, the enemy launched three airstrikes and carried out 74 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units in the areas of the settlements of Prylipka and Maryine. Ukrainian soldiers repelled two attacks, two more combat clashes are currently ongoing.
Three attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Kupyansk direction , the enemy attacked in the area of Kurylivka, Petropavlivka and Novoosynovo. Another clash is currently ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers stopped seven attacks, in the area of Zarichny, Stavki, Lyman, and towards Drobysheve.
In the Slavyansk direction, our defenders repelled 11 attempts by the occupiers to advance towards Zakitne, Svyato-Pokrovsky, Platonovka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and in the Dronivka area. Four clashes are ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attempted to advance in the Predtechyny area. The attack was repelled.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders stormed the positions of our defenders seven times today near the settlements of Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Ivano-Pillya, Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, and Pleshchiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 32 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Novy Donbas, Pokrovsk, Svitle, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopavlivka, Myrnograd, Sofiivka and towards Ivanivka, Hannivka and Rodynske.
