A total of 157 combat engagements were recorded along the front line as of 22:00 on January 31, with Russian forces launching 38 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Pokrovsk sector and losing about 80 personnel.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a situation update published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
The General Staff said that Russian forces carried out one missile strike using a single missile, conducted 42 air strikes and dropped 106 guided aerial bombs. They also deployed 4,358 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,117 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian positions.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out one air strike, dropping three guided aerial bombs, and conducted 75 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including two using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops assaulted Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Starytsia, Prylipka, Vovchanski Khutory and Vovchansk, as well as toward Kruhle, Hryhorivka, Fyholivka and Petro-Ivanivka. Ukrainian units repelled 17 attacks, while three engagements are still ongoing.
Ukrainian defenders repelled four attacks in the Kupiansk sector toward Kurylivka, Petropavlivka and Novoosynove, with one engagement still continuing.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces stopped seven attacks near Zarichne, Tverdokhlibove and toward Druzheliubivka and Drobysheve.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled seven attempts by Russian troops to advance toward Zakitne and near Dronivka, Yampil and Sviato-Pokrovske, while three engagements are ongoing.
No offensive actions were recorded in the Kramatorsk sector.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces launched 14 assaults on Ukrainian positions near Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia and Sofiivka, as well as toward Illinivka, Stepanivka and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy carried out 38 attacks, attempting to advance near Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and Filiia, as well as toward Ivanivka and Rodynske. Fighting is still ongoing in several locations. Since the beginning of the day, 157 combat engagements have taken place. The enemy is actively operating in three directions. As stated in the General Staff's report, the enemy used 4358 kamikaze drones and carried out 3117 shellings, UNN reports.

In the Pokrovsk direction , the enemy carried out 38 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiia, and towards Ivanivka and Rodynske.
