The boyfriend of a young Ukrainian refugee stabbed to death by a schizophrenic repeat offender on board a train has hit out at a judge who let a violent suspect with multiple convictions walk free before he allegedly set fire to a woman on public transportation in Chicago.
Stanislav Nikulytsia drew direct parallels between the horrific murder of his girlfriend, Iryna Zarutska, 23, in Charlotte, NC, in August, and the sickening attack on Bethany MaGee on a CTA train in the Windy City on Nov. 17.
“72 prior arrests sounds like a joke. I guess 72 times was not enough to understand who he is,” Nikulytsia said in his Instagram story, sharing a local article about the Chicago attack.
“Why they always wait for them to do something like that to start doing something to prevent it,” he added.
Zarutska, who had fled the war in her home country in 2022 to come to the US, was fatally stabbed on board a train while coming home from work.
Decarlos Brown, a career criminal with 14 previous arrests, was arrested and charged with her murder shortly afterward.
Brown was freed on cashless bail in January by Magistrate Judge Teresa Stokes with a “written promise” to appear at a future court date. --->READ MORE HEREDisturbing bodycam footage shows Iryna Zarutska’s alleged killer saying a ‘man-made material’ is controlling him months before murdere:
Newly released bodycam footage shows Charlotte light rail murder suspect Decarlos Brown Jr. telling officers that a “man-made material” was controlling his body months before he allegedly stabbed Iryna Zarutska to death.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department released footage on Tuesday of officers responding to a welfare check concerning Brown in January. Brown called 911 himself to report that a “man-made material” had been placed inside his body and was controlling him.
One officer at the scene questioned Brown, asking, “You think you got somebody inside controlling you?”
Brown doubled down and said the material was placed inside him without his “permission or authorization,” adding that it controls all of his bodily functions, including what he eats.
“I need you guys to investigate due to the fact that medic ain’t got no test or scan to investigate what my body got exposed to,” Brown said.
Brown could be seen in the bodycam footage explaining that he “woke up on the ground” and that “somebody did something to my body.”
The incident took place months before Brown allegedly killed 23-year-old Zarutska on a LYNX Blue Line light rail in August. Authorities have described the violent stabbing attack as unprovoked. --->READ MORE HERE
