Ex-Trump Adviser Stephen Moore Quits Heritage Foundation as Controversy Over Tucker Carlson’s Nick Fuentes Interview Rolls On; Ben Shapiro Blasts ‘intellectual coward’ Tucker Carlson Amid Staff Shakeup at Heritage; ‘Belong In a Mental Institution’: Fox’s Mark Levin Blasts ‘Neo-Nazi Fascistic’ Right in Swipe at Tucker Carlson

Ex-Trump adviser Stephen Moore quits Heritage Foundation as controversy over Tucker Carlson’s Nick Fuentes interview rolls on:
Former Trump economic adviser Stephen Moore resigned from the conservative Heritage Foundation on Thursday amid fierce backlash — and pressure from donors — over think tank president Kevin Roberts’ defense of Tucker Carlson platforming white nationalist Nick Fuentes.
Moore served for more than a decade as a fellow at one of the largest right-of-center think tanks in Washington, DC, yet didn’t reference the internal revolt over Roberts’ embrace of Carlson or subsequent apology for his choice of words — though sources told The Post the economist was facing pressure to depart.
“After 12 happy and productive years, I have decided to resign my position as senior visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation in order to concentrate my work load on continuing to build up @Comm4Prosperity [Committee to Unleash Prosperity] and the mounting influence of our daily Hotline,” Moore posted on X.
He then quoted Roberts’ predecessor as Heritage boss: “As Ed Feulner would say: ‘onward.’”
The Committee to Unleash Prosperity co-founder had been asked by donors to that group to leave Heritage, one source familiar with Moore’s exit told The Post.
Moore’s wife, Anne, had also proclaimed in a since-deleted tweet that Roberts didn’t deserve “a second chance” and that her “husband will be submitting his resignation.”
Anne Moore has since taken down her X account.
“When you fail to do the right thing in the first place from such a place of privilege, you don’t get a second chance,” Anne Moore wrote a little after 8 a.m. Thursday, in response to a post from former “The View” co-host Meghan McCain. “My husband will be submitting his resignation after twelve meaningful years at Heritage.”
Moore, a senior economic adviser to President Trump’s 2016 campaign and key architect of his 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, declined to comment further when The Post contacted him Friday.
In a statement, Heritage Foundation executive vice president Derrick Morgan praised Moore as “a gifted communicator for free markets” and “an important partner to Heritage as a visiting fellow.”
“We look forward to other opportunities to work with Steve in the future,” Morgan added. --->READ MORE HERE

Ben Shapiro blasts ‘intellectual coward’ Tucker Carlson amid staff shakeup at Heritage:
In an episode of “The Ben Shapiro Show” released Monday, the conservative podcaster criticized Carlson’s podcast episode with Holocaust-denier Nick Fuentes.
Conservative podcaster Ben Shapiro blasted Tucker Carlson on Monday, calling him “the most virulent super-spreader of vile ideas in America,” adding fuel to an incident that sparked a staff shakeup at the Heritage Institute.
In an episode of “The Ben Shapiro Show” released Monday, Shapiro criticized Carlson’s podcast episode with Holocaust-denier Nick Fuentes, saying Carlson failed to push back on Fuentes’ bigotry.
“The issue here isn’t that Tucker Carlson had Nick Fuentes on his show last week. He has every right to do that, of course,” Shapiro said. “The issue here is that Tucker Carlson decided to normalize and fluff Nick Fuentes and that the Heritage Foundation then decided to robustly defend that performance.”
Carlson declined to comment when contacted Monday.
Shapiro’s critique is the latest crack in a conservative movement splintering over Carlson’s inflammatory interview with Fuentes. The interview, which aired last week, was laced with antisemitic references and sparked division within the Republican Party over whether the discussion should be allowed or condemned. On the podcast, Fuentes praised Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin and claimed the “big challenge” to unifying the country was “organized Jewry.” Carlson, a former Fox News host who retains a large following, said Republican Israel supporters suffer from a “brain virus.”
The podcast episode was received differently by two bastions of conservative thought: The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board condemned it, while Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts defended it, criticizing the “venomous coalition” attempting to “cancel” Carlson after the interview.
“I disagree with and even abhor things that Nick Fuentes says, but canceling him is not the answer, either,” Roberts said. Roberts later explicitly condemned antisemitism and detailed his disagreements with Fuentes.
Shapiro pushed back on Roberts’ characterization. “It is not cancellation to draw moral lines between viewpoints,” Shapiro said. “In fact, we used to call that one of the key aspects of conservatism.”
The incident sparked internal changes at the Heritage Foundation. Ryan Neuhaus, Roberts’ former chief of staff, resigned from the conservative think tank Monday, a Heritage spokesperson confirmed. Neuhaus had reposted statements defending Roberts’ statement on X. --->READ MORE HERE
