Over the past 24 hours, on November 5, there were 260 combat engagements along various frontlines, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Telegram.
Russian forces carried out one missile strike and 43 airstrikes, using 5 missiles and dropping 94 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 2,351 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,177 shellings of Ukrainian positions and populated areas.
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian soldiers repelled two enemy assault attempts. The enemy also carried out nine airstrikes, dropping 22 guided bombs, and conducted 154 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including nine using multiple-launch rocket systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy launched 14 assaults on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Vovchansk, Bolohivka, and toward Synelnykove.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces carried out offensive actions toward Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Nova Kruhliakivka. Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy attacks.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked Defense Forces positions 26 times near Kolodiazi, Hrekivka, Novoiehorivka, Karpivka, Derylove, Myrne, Shandryholove, Zarichne, and toward Korovyn Yar and Drobysheve.
In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 enemy assault attempts. The occupiers tried to advance near Yampil, Dronivka, Siversk, Serebrianka, Pereizne, and toward Zvanivka.
Six enemy attacks were repelled by Ukrainian forces near Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar, Fedorivka, and toward Stupochky in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian forces launched 33 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, and Rusyn Yar.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses 31 times near Zelenyi Hai, Ivanivka, Piddubne, Sichneve, Oleksandrohrad, Vorone, Sosnivka, Stepove, Verbove, Pryvilne, Novohryhorivka, and Pershotravneve.
In the Huliaipole direction, 12 combat engagements were recorded near Novomykolaivka, Uspenivka, Okhotnych, and Zelenyi Hai.
In the Orikhiv direction, there was one combat engagement, with the enemy attempting to advance near Stepove.
In the Prydniprovsk direction, Ukrainian units repelled two enemy assaults near the Antonivskyi Bridge.
Situation in the Pokrovsk direction
As reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the General Staff, measures are ongoing in Pokrovsk to block enemy forces attempting to infiltrate the city. Territorial defenses have been reinforced, with additional assault units deployed.
Since the start of the day, Russian forces have attempted 93 times to advance on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Mayak, Nikanorivka, Fedorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Myroliubivka, Pokrovsk, Lysivka, Zvirove, Novopavlivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novosergiivka, Muravka, Filiya, and Yalta. --->READ MORE HERE

In the Lymansky direction, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 26 times near the settlements of Kolodyazi, Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, Karpivka, Derylove, Myrne, Shandryholove, Zarichne and towards the settlements of Korovyn Yar and Drobysheve.
Sixteen assault operations by enemy troops were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Slavyansk direction.
Our defenders repelled six enemy attacks near the settlements of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar, Fedorivka, and towards Stupochky, in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the Russians attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 33 times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, and Rusyn Yar.
In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have tried to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units 93 times. The enemy attacked in the areas of the settlements of Mayak, Nykanorivka, Fedorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrolyubivka, Pokrovsk, Lysivka, Zvirovo, Novopavlivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novosergiivka, Muravka, Filiya and Yalta. In some locations, fighting is still ongoing.
Measures are being taken to block the enemy, who are trying to infiltrate and accumulate in the city of Pokrovsk. Active counteraction to attempts by enemy infantry groups to gain a foothold continues.
In Pokrovsk, the Defense Forces of Ukraine are conducting strike and search operations. In particular, assault units of the 425th OSHP, SBS operators, combined groups of the SSpO, VSP ASU, SBU, NGU and GUR MOU have been involved.
