During November 6, 164 clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders occurred at the front, with the Pokrovsky direction remaining the hottest - a third of all enemy attacks were recorded here.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook , publishing operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, Ukrinform reports.
"In total, 164 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day... Today, Russian troops carried out one missile and 37 air strikes, using six missiles and dropping 95 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they involved 2,693 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,839 shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements," the report says.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight assault actions of the invaders, two more clashes are ongoing. In addition, the enemy carried out four air strikes, dropping 10 guided bombs, and also carried out 160 shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements, including 14 from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 12 times in the areas of Vovchansk, Kamyanka, and towards Dvorichansk.
In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor carried out offensive actions towards the settlements of Petropavlivka, Pishchane and Hlushkivka. Ukrainian defenders stopped 12 enemy attacks.
In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces eight times near the settlements of Novoyehorivka, Borivska Andriivka, Hrekivka, Zarichne, Novoselivka and towards the settlement of Koroviy Yar. Fighting continues in two locations.
Thirteen assaults by enemy troops were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Slavyansk direction - the occupiers tried to advance near Yampol, Dronivka, Siversk, Serebryanka, and Fedorivka.
Our defenders repelled two enemy attacks near the settlements of Novomarkovo and Vyrolyubivka, in the Kramatorsk direction .
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the Russians launched 14 offensives against the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and in the direction of Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have tried to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units 55 times. The enemy attacked in the areas of the settlements of Chervonyi Lyman, Fedorivka, Myrnograd, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Dorozhne, Novopavlivka, Novoekonomichne, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiya.
