Democrats, Media Clutch Pearls Over President Trump’s Perfectly Above-Board Ballroom Build:
The same people and publications who cheered tearing down statues are now waxing poetic about Trump building a ballroom on private dime.
he same people and publications who cheered tearing down statues in an attempt to usher in an age of race-obsessed revisionist history are waxing poetic about how President Donald Trump’s above-board ballroom build is a historical injustice.
The White House announced its private donor-funded plans to build a “much-needed and exquisite” ballroom capable of holding 650 people — 450 more than the East Room capacity — earlier this year. It wasn’t until the heavy equipment rolled in and began cutting at the connection point of the East Wing in mid-October, however, that a widespread meltdown ensued.
As the White House has repeatedly clarified, Trump’s ballroom plans are part of a “proud presidential legacy” that follows a pattern of additions, modifications, and renovations completed by his predecessors over the last century.
Yet, shortly after photos of the early and messy stages of construction began circulating, Democrats, corporate media, and others complained that construction on the new structure is “literally destroying the White House” and replacing it with a “gaudy monument to vanity, corruption, and excess.” --->READ MORE HERE
Hillary mocked after blasting Trump’s White House ballroom construction: ‘A Clinton would never defile the WH’
Ex-White House residents Bill and Hillary Clinton were mocked on social media Tuesday after the former first lady criticized President Trump’s latest construction project at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Hillary took issue with the demolition that began Monday on the East Wing of the White House to accommodate Trump’s massive, $250 million ballroom, making it clear that she’s no fan of the renovation.
“It’s not his house. It’s your house. And he’s destroying it,” she wrote on X Tuesday morning.
Hillary included an image taken from the Washington Post’s coverage of the partial teardown in her tweet, showing rubble piling up as a demolition crew ripped the facade off the East Wing.
Social media users were quick to point out that the Clintons didn’t exactly treat the Executive Mansion with reverence when they occupied it.
“Yes, between selling nights in the Lincoln bedroom to donors and her husband’s tutelage of the interns in the Oval Office, if anyone treated the WH as sacred it was the Clintons,” writer Mark Hemingway wrote on X.
Hemingway was alluding to Bill’s infamous sex scandal involving White House intern Monica Lewinsky and allegations that the Clintons raked in millions in campaign contributions in exchange for offering high-dollar donors overnight stays in the Lincoln Bedroom.
Alex Pfeiffer, a former White House staffer, quipped: “A Clinton would never defile the White House.”
Several other users noted that the Clintons took $28,000 in furnishings that belonged to the White House’s permanent collection and hundreds of thousands of dollars in flatware when Bill left office in 2001. --->READ MORE HERE
