The Armed Forces of Ukraine are confidently holding back attempts by Russian troops to advance, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment. During the day, Russian troops carried out 2 missile and 59 air strikes, using 53 missiles and 105 guided aerial bombs. The occupiers actively used kamikaze drones – over 4200 launches, and also conducted about 3000 shellings of the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian settlements.
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks, despite 10 enemy air strikes and over 170 shellings.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy unsuccessfully stormed positions near Fyholivka and Kolodiazhne.
In the Kupyansk area, our units stopped seven offensives, and two more battles are ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, nine attacks were recorded, some of which are ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight assaults in the areas of Yampil, Serebryanka, Vyyimka, and Zvanivka.
Near Kramatorsk, the enemy attacked once – without success.
The greatest activity is observed in the Pokrovsk direction – 40 attempts to break through per day. Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 60 Russian soldiers, 33 of them irrevocably, as well as 21 drones, an armored vehicle, and an enemy car. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook , publishing operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, Ukrinform reports.
"In total, 114 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day... Today, Russian troops carried out two missile and 59 air strikes, using 53 missiles and dropping 105 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they involved 4,208 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,003 shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements," the report says.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian soldiers have repelled two assault actions by the invaders. In addition, the enemy carried out ten air strikes, dropping 22 guided bombs, and also carried out 178 shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements, eight of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy twice stormed the positions of our units near Figolivka and towards Kolodyazne.
In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor conducted offensive actions in the area of Stepovaya Novoselivka and towards Pishchane and Petropavlivka. Ukrainian defenders stopped seven enemy attacks, two more clashes are ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces nine times near Shandryholovy, Novovodyany, Zarechny, and towards the settlement of Koroviy Yar; two clashes are still ongoing.
Eight assault operations were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Slavyansk direction - the occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Yampol, Serebryanka, Viyimka, Pereyzne, and towards Zvanivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled one attack by the invaders towards Stupochky.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the Russians launched 13 offensives against the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Petrivka, Yablunivka, and Rusyn Yar. Our soldiers stopped all enemy attacks.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have tried to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units 40 times. The enemy attacked in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Nykanorivka, Novotoretske, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Chunyshyne, Pokrovsk, Zvirovo, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka and Filiya.
