‘Rule Of Law Endures’: Watch Comey Celebrate Political Prosecutions Of Trump:

The long-awaited indictment of Former FBI Director James Comey was surely cause for celebration among his targets.

Vindictive former FBI Director James Comey’s power trip is finally over as he has learned the “rule of law” he so often speaks of applies to him too.

A federal grand jury has indicted Comey for obstructing a congressional investigation into the disclosure of sensitive information and with making false statements to the federal government, according to a DOJ statement. The false statements charge carries a penalty of up to five years in prison, which means Comey may be fitted for the prison jumpsuit he so dearly wanted to see President Donald Trump wear.

With the claim that he was just following the rule of law, Comey used his position to manipulate public perception about Trump, and he played a key role in legitimizing the bogus narrative that Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. The saga was tremendously damaging to the country, and the distrust it sowed lives on in today’s deep partisan divisions. Comey should be held accountable for his role.

Trump fired Comey in May of 2017, and clearly he held onto his anger about losing one of the most powerful jobs in the nation, because Comey has continued to nip at Trump’s heels through social media posts. In August of 2018, when Trump was asked to submit to an interview as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s bogus Russia investigation, Comey trotted out his rule of law admonishment to help legitimize the investigation.

Truth exists and truth matters. Truth has always been the touchstone of our country’s justice system and political life. People who lie are held accountable. If we are untethered to truth, our justice system cannot function and a society based on the rule of law dissolves.

Comey could have slunk back into private life and started a new chapter, but he did not stop meddling in the politics of hate, even years after he was fired. Democrats, Who Weaponized Justice Against Trump, Decry Comey Indictment As Retribution:

The Democrat Party, the party for today’s political assassin, stopped at literally nothing to take out Trump.

Looks like deep state creep James Comey will have to “86” some of his plans in the coming months after being indicted on charges of lying to and obstructing the Senate Judiciary Committee in 2020.

An injustice! Democrats cried. Rep. Jamie Raskin, Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee, declared that Comey’s indictment is part of President Donald Trump’s “wrath and vengeance campaign.” The Maryland leftist, of course, was all-in on the Biden administration’s vengeance campaign against his presidential predecessor and his supporters.

But Raskin said something remarkably hypocritcal, even for him.

He’s confident that a jury of Comey’s peers will see past the Trump hater’s trouble with the truth and “vindicate” the disgraced former FBI head.

“But, until that happens, Mr. Comey will be forced to spend time, money, and energy defending himself against this blatantly fraudulent and vindictive indictment,” he said Thursday evening in a statement.

Wow! That’s rich.

‘Unprecedented Legal Action’

Raskin and his Trump Derangement Syndrome-suffering colleagues rejoiced in the time, energy and money — lots of money — the president and his campaign spent in fighting “blatantly fraudulent and vindictive” indictments.

In just a two-year period, Trump, his campaign and other fundraising organizations, according to the Associated Press, were forced to pay out $76.7 million in legal fees to defend the then-former president and Republican Party presidential candidate from the most expensive and nation-rending lawfare campaign in the nation’s history. --->READ MORE HERE
