As of 10:00 PM Kyiv time on August 3, there were 153 combat clashes along the front line during the past 24 hours. Russian attacks were recorded in 12 directions, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russia launched one missile strike and 53 air strikes, firing one missile and dropping 82 guided bombs. It carried out 903 kamikaze drone attacks and 3,011 strikes on Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas.

Frontline situation

In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight Russian attacks, with four combat clashes ongoing. The enemy launched seven air strikes, dropping 17 guided bombs and conducting 216 artillery strikes, including 17 from multiple rocket launch systems.

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukrainian forces repelled seven Russian assaults near Vovchansk, Kutkivka, Fyholivka, and Krasne Pershe.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian fortifications nine times. The clashes took place near Holubivka, Petropavlivka, Novoosynove, Stepova Novoselivka, and Nova Kruhliakivka.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops stormed Ukrainian positions 25 times near Karpivka, Olhivka, Ridkodub, Torske, Hryhorivka, toward Serednie, Cherneshchyna, and Shandryholove. Six combat clashes are ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four Russian attacks near Hryhorivka, Serebrianka, and Siversk. One combat clash is still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled seven attacks near Chasiv Yar, Markove, and toward Bila Hora and Stupochky.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces stormed Ukrainian defenders' positions 13 times near Rusyn Yar, Shcherbynivka, Katerynivka, and toward Oleksandro-Kalynove.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces carried out 38 assault and offensive actions during the day. Russian activity was observed near Popiv Yar, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Horikhove, and toward Novoukrainka, Novopidhorodne, Rodynske, and Chervonyi Lyman.
