This was reported by the AFU General Staff on Facebook, providing the operational update as of 22:00 on Monday, August 25, according to Ukrinform.

"A total of 136 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day. The invaders carried out 43 airstrikes, dropping 57 guided bombs. In addition, the Russians used 1,459 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,799 shellings of the Ukrainian positions and settlements," the report reads.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces attacked the Ukrainian positions 17 times near Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka, Kolodiazi, Novoselivka, Zelena Dolyna, and toward Yampil and Serebrianka. The Ukrainian defenders are currently repelling nine of these attacks.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces attacked six times, focusing on Dyliivka, Toretsk, Rusyn Yar, and Oleksandro-Kalynove.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian units attempted 43 attacks near Nikanorivka, Mayak, Myroliubivka, Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Hrodivka, Sukhyi Yar, Lysivka, Chunishyne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Horikhove, and Dachne. Fighting continues in some areas. The Ukrainian defenders repelled the attacks, inflicting heavy losses — 142 invaders were neutralized, 86 of them irrevocably.
