Since the beginning of August 19, there have been 121 combat clashes on the front. In particular, in the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 40 Russian attacks, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian forces carried out three missile strikes using eight missiles, 52 airstrikes dropping 73 guided bombs, launched 1,909 kamikaze drones, and conducted 3,740 shellings of Ukrainian positions and settlements.
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, there were five clashes with Russian troops. The enemy carried out seven airstrikes, dropped 16 guided bombs, launched 175 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, seven of them with multiple rocket launchers.
Today, the enemy attacked three times in the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction in the areas of Vovchansk and Kamianka.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces carried out four assaults in the areas of Synkivka, Zahryzove, and Stepova Novoselivka; fighting is ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces have already repelled 18 enemy assaults near Zelena Dolyna, Kolodiazi, Myrne, Torske, Yampil, and toward Yampil and Hryhorivka; five clashes are still underway.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked twice near Pereizne and toward Fedorivka.
In the Toretsk direction, there were nine clashes today. Russian troops attempted to assault Ukrainian positions near Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, Yablunivka, and Poltavka; two attacks are still ongoing.
