Tennessee Republican Calls for Mamdani to be Denaturalized, Deported; ‘He needs to be deported’: Tennessee Congressman Calls for DOJ Probe Into Mamdani’s Naturalization

Tennessee Republican calls for Mamdani to be denaturalized, deported:
Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) suggested New York Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani should be deported and denaturalized ahead of the November election.
“Zohran ‘little muhammad’ Mamdani is an antisemitic, socialist, communist who will destroy the great City of New York,” Ogles wrote in a Thursday post on the social platform X, appearing to invoke the Muslim Prophet Muhammad.
“He needs to be DEPORTED. Which is why I am calling for him to be subject to denaturalization proceedings,” he added.
The Tennessee lawmaker attached his letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi in the post, urging her to denaturalize Mamdani, citing a chapter from the U.S. Code that outlines the revocation of citizenship for individuals who willfully misrepresent or conceal material support for terrorism.
“According to public reports, including a June 21, 2025 New York Post article, Mr. Mamdani expressed open solidarity with individuals convicted of terrorism-related offenses prior to becoming a U.S. citizen. Specifically, he rapped: ‘Free the Holy Land Five / My guys,’” Ogles wrote in the letter.
The Holy Land Foundation is a U.S.-based Muslim charity. Five of its leaders were convicted of funneling money to Hamas in support of Palestine in 2008.
“Publicly praising the Foundation’s convicted leadership as ‘my guys’ raises serious concerns about whether Mr. Mamdani held affiliations or sympathies he failed to disclose during the naturalization process,” Ogles wrote.
“While I understand that some may raise First Amendment concerns about taking legal action based on expressive conduct, such as rap lyrics, speech alone does not preclude accountability where it reasonably suggests underlying conduct relevant to eligibility for naturalization.” --->READ MORE HERE

‘He needs to be deported’: Tennessee congressman calls for DOJ probe into Mamdani’s naturalization:
Rep. Andy Ogles, Tennessee Republican, urged the Justice Department to open an investigation into New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, saying that he may have violated the terms of his naturalized citizenship by supporting terrorism and thus should be deported.
In a Thursday letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi, Mr. Ogles cited a report that Mr. Mamdani expressed solidarity with the Holy Land Foundation in a 2017 rap track, rapping “My love to the Holy Land Five/You better look ‘em up.”
The pro-Israel Canary Mission, which unearthed the track, said the “Holy Land Five” refers to five men who were convicted of funding over $12 million to Hamas, a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organization.
The Canary Mission said the track shows that Mr. Mamdani is “unfit for office.”
Mr. Mamdani, who was born in Uganda in 1991 and became a naturalized citizen in 2018, has served in the New York Assembly since 2020. He defeated former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic primary for mayor in Tuesday’s election.
“The naturalization process depends on the good-faith disclosure of any affiliation with, or support for, groups that threaten U.S. national security,” said Mr. Ogles in his letter. “If Mr. Mamdani concealed relevant associations, that concealment may constitute a material misrepresentation sufficient to support denaturalization under federal law.” --->READ MORE HERE
