Sen. Ted Cruz came to the defense of Sydney Sweeney and her American Eagle jeans spot after twisted leftist TikTokkers claimed it was full of “Nazi propaganda.”
“Wow. Now the crazy Left has come out against beautiful women,” Cruz (R-Texas) replied to The Post’s X post.
“I’m sure that will poll well….,” he added.
Sweeney came under fire from critics for an ad she was featured in wearing a pair of the brand’s jeans and a denim jacket.
“Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality, and even eye color,” she intones in the spot.
“My jeans are blue,” she says as she flashes her blue eyes.
Woke social media users jumped at the wordplay between jeans and genes that the “Euphoria” actress used during the promotion, calling it “Nazi propaganda.”
“I thought it was gonna be, like, kinda bad, but wow. That’s gonna be in history books!” one TikTok user posted.
“I will be the friend that’s too woke, but those Sydney Sweeney American Eagle ads are weird. Like, fascist weird. Like Nazi propaganda weird,” another comment said. --->READ MORE HERE

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz has come to actress Sydney Sweeney's defense amid controversy surrounding her new American Eagle campaign, which some critics have labeled tone-deaf and racially insensitive.
Cruz responded in a X post Tuesday to a New York Post story about the controversial advertising campaign.
"Wow. Now the crazy Left has come out against beautiful women. I'm sure that will poll well," the Texas politician wrote.

The viral ad campaign called "Sydney Sweeney has great jeans," features a series of videos across social with the Euphoria actress in slouchy American Eagle jeans. The tagline plays on the homophone "jeans/genes," with the most criticized video showing Sweeney reclining on a couch fastening her pants while describing traits passed down through genetics, quipping, "My genes are blue."
