Texas, We Have a Problem: Sharia is Coming to Town; Islamic Enclaves and American Liberty: Why Texas Must Stand Firm

Texas, We Have a Problem:
Sharia is coming to town.
Across Texas, something deeply troubling is taking shape — a quiet but deliberate transformation of our communities, institutions, and values under the guise of “religious freedom.” What’s happening isn’t random. It’s not isolated. It’s part of a calculated strategy that’s now impossible to ignore — a strategy that uses America’s own Constitution as a weapon.
The most glaring example? A 402-acre master plan near Josephine, Texas, known as EPIC City. Marketed as a peaceful, self-sustained Muslim community, its design is far more ambitious: a mosque, school system, senior housing, a college, commercial centers — even law offices that align with Islamic legal doctrine. Over a thousand homes, all structured under the banner of a singular religious identity. The project’s ideological architect, Yasir Qadhi — a name familiar to many of us who have long warned about his agenda — is openly calling it “EPIC 1.0” and “2.0” with the goal of making this model replicable across North America.
This isn’t just about real estate. It’s about parallel governance. And they’re not hiding it anymore.
During a recent segment on Brannon Howse Live, we examined footage of Islamic schools in Texas that teach skewed geopolitical narratives, including maps that effectively erase Israel, labeling the entire region “Palestine.” Boys and girls separated. Hijabs mandatory. And the teachings go far beyond religion — they push a worldview that prioritizes Islamic law, Sharia, over American principles.
While they build, they also infiltrate — demanding curriculum changes in public schools, fighting for Islamic holidays in school calendars, and even leveraging county and city officials, including the mayor of Plano, to normalize this takeover as “interfaith collaboration.” But this isn’t about faith. It’s about power.
Let’s be brutally honest: Islamists are using our freedoms to gain control and silence resistance. Free speech? They weaponize it to promote intolerance under the banner of tolerance. Freedom of religion? They invoke it to demand special privileges — while marginalizing every other belief system that doesn’t align. And anyone who speaks up? Labeled “Islamophobic,” smeared, threatened, even hunted.
They know exactly what they’re doing. As I said in the interview — and I stand by it — they are using the First Amendment to destroy the First Amendment. It’s a tactic of patience, discipline, and long-term infiltration. As Dr. Bill Warner has often said, Islam teaches its followers to play the long game. And they are. --->READ MORE HERE
Islamic Enclaves and American Liberty: Why Texas Must Stand Firml
If America is to remain a beacon of freedom for future generations, we must recover the wisdom and courage to distinguish between welcoming diverse individuals with diverse beliefs and embracing ideological systems that are incompatible with our constitutional foundation.
Texas stands once again as America’s bulwark — this time against a troubling development outside Dallas that raises profound questions about America’s constitutional future.
A 400-acre master-planned community spearheaded by the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC) isn’t merely about homes and a mosque. It represents something far more consequential: the establishment of what Gov. Greg Abbott rightly identified as potentially the first “Shariah city” on American soil.
This isn’t hysteria, it’s biblical discernment. The facts demand our attention, and those are Islam’s historical incompatibility with American constitutional principles, the explicit segregationist aims of EPIC City’s founders, the erosion of religious liberties for non-Muslims wherever Islamic governance takes root, and the spiritual mandate for Christians to defend truth while preserving the blessings of liberty.
American freedom was purchased too dearly to surrender it through misguided tolerance of systems that, by their very nature, are intolerant and cannot sustain the constitutional order our Founders established.
As Thomas Jefferson wrote in 1802, “Religion is a matter which lies solely between man & his God…the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions.”
This foundational distinction — that government exists to regulate actions, not beliefs — provided the bedrock for genuine religious liberty in America. Yet this very distinction is precisely what Islamic governance historically rejects. As such, the government that Abbott leads has both the right and the responsibility to protect this crucial separation.
The Unspoken Vision Behind “EPIC City”
The EPIC development’s promotional materials boldly declares their vision: “a meticulously designed community that brings Islam to the forefront.” These aren’t my words but theirs.
This language reveals not a neighborhood seeking to integrate into the American tapestry but a deliberate effort to create a segregated religious enclave.
Scripture commands us to “test everything” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). What should we understand about Islam’s historical pattern wherever it gains territorial and demographic supremacy?
In nations where Islam becomes dominant, religious liberty withers. In Pakistan, Christians face blasphemy laws carrying death sentences. In Iran, converting from Islam remains punishable by death. In Saudi Arabia, public Christian worship remains forbidden. These aren’t anomalies — they’re the consistent pattern of Islamic governance. --->READ MORE HERE
