Since the beginning of the day, 140 combat clashes have been recorded between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and Russian troops, 52 of them in the Pokrovsk direction
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook , publishing operational information as of 22:00 on Thursday, May 1, Ukrinform reports.
Today, the Russian invaders launched three missile and 78 air strikes, used five missiles and 139 guided bombs, attracted 1091 kamikaze drones and carried out 4193 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements.
In the Kharkiv direction, the Defense Forces successfully stopped two enemy attacks near Vovchansk and towards Novovasylivka.
In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor carried out five offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Novoosynove, Glushkivka, Nova Kruglyakivka and Zahryzove. The defense forces successfully stopped all attacks.
In the Lyman direction, the Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 21 times in the areas of Nadiya, Yampolivka, Kolodyazy and towards Hrekivka and Zelena Dolyna. So far, three enemy attacks have been ongoing.
In the Siversky direction, the enemy attacked towards Verkhnokamianske and Hryhorivka. In total, since the beginning of the day, there have been four clashes, which our defenders have successfully stopped.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Chasiv Yar, Novomarkovo and towards Bila Hora. So far, two clashes have been going on.
In the Toretsk direction today, our soldiers repelled three enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Shcherbynivka, Druzhba and towards Diliivka. So far, one combat clash continues.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of this day, the enemy has attacked 52 times in the areas of the settlements of Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Vodyane Druhne, Oleksandropil, Malynivka, Lysivka, Dachenske, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Nadiivka, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyarivka, Troitske, Andriivka, as well as in the direction of Pokrovsk, Romanivka, Stara Mykolaivka, Nova Poltavka, Myrolyubivka and Oleksiivka.
