Trump executive order wants RFK, Secretary of Education to 'provide a plan to end coercive COVID-19 vaccine mandates'
President Donald Trump signed an executive order Friday barring schools who still have coronavirus vaccine mandates from receiving federal funds.
The order, according to a report from Breitbart confirmed by the White House, prohibits "federal funds from being used to support or subsidize an educational service agency, state education agency, local education agency, elementary school, secondary school, or institution of higher education that requires students to have received a COVID-19 vaccination to attend in-person education programs."
It also tasks Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy and the Secretary of Education to establish guidelines for compliance and to "provide a plan to end coercive COVID-19 vaccine mandates."
That includes coming up with a system to block federal funding to "educational entities" that have coronavirus vaccine mandates.
"That solves that problem," Trump said in the Oval Office.
Trump also signed an executive order Friday establishing an "energy council" led by Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and Energy Secretary Chris Wright, press secretary Karoline Leavitt said. --->READ MORE HERE
Trump pushes to defund schools requiring COVID-19 vaccination:
President Trump signed an executive order Friday stripping funding from schools and other educational organizations that require students and staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Trump directed newly confirmed Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as well as the head of the department of Education, to end COVID vaccine mandates, report on institutions that don’t comply and develop a system to cut off federal funding.
The executive order fulfills a promise Trump made repeatedly on the campaign trail, when he pledged to strip funding from schools that require vaccines and masks and vowing to now allow COVID vaccine mandates.
Trump also previously signed an order to reinstate military service members who were dismissed for refusing the Pentagon’s own coronavirus vaccine mandate.
No states have any current COVID-19 vaccine mandates in K-12 schools. The order also doesn’t mention other childhood vaccines that schools across the country require, like diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, measles, mumps and rubella. --->READ MORE HERE
