Vance says illegal immigrants robbing citizens of American dream:

Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance said the illegal immigrant crisis in the U.S. is a “theft of the American dream.”

“We see this in small communities, we see this in big cities all over our country,” Mr. Vance, running mate of former President Donald Trump, said at a rally in Michigan Wednesday.

“When you let in 25 million people, you know what that does? It stresses municipal budgets. So a lot of cities and towns can’t afford to provide for their own citizens because they’re focused on providing for people that shouldn’t be here,” he said.

He talked about the lengthening of hospital wait times and the rising cost of homes due to the influx of immigrants in the country.

“When you let in 25 million illegal aliens and they compete with Americans for scarce homes, that drives up the cost of housing and that is a major cost of the housing crisis,” he said.

Vance blames illegal immigration for rising housing costs:

Sen. J.D. Vance said Tuesday that illegal immigrants are competing with Americans for housing and contributing to the soaring prices that have chased many people out of the dream of home ownership.

Mr. Vance laid blame at the feet of Vice President Kamala Harris, who he said is part of the administration that added millions of new illegal immigrants to the population.

“We should be kicking out illegal immigrants who are competing for those homes,” he said.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Democrats’ nominee, complained that was scapegoating illegal immigrants.

He said the answer to housing is to offer more government support, such as assistance in not needing to come up with a down payment.

Mr. Vance countered that Ms. Harris has been in the White House with President Biden for three years and hasn’t helped the situation.

“I invite her to use the office that the American people already gave her. Not sit around and campaign and do nothing while Americans find the American dream of homeownership unaffordable,” he said. --->READ MORE HERE
