Harris Touts $157M for Civilians in Lebanon While Many Helene Victims Wait for Relief:
Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris on Saturday touted that her and President Joe Biden’s administration was sending $157 million in humanitarian aid to civilians in Lebanon, after announcing just $750 for the immediate needs of individual Hurricane Helene victims.
She even added the $157 million infusion would bring the total U.S. support to Lebanon in one year to “over $385 million.” For perspective, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced on Oct. 4 it has provided $45 million in disaster relief thus far: $23 million to people in Florida; $17 million to North Carolina; and $4.5 million to South Carolina.
This is while thousands of Americans lost their homes, businesses, belongings, pets — and in some cases family members – due to Hurricane Helene wreaking destruction across the nation’s southeast last weekend, and are only getting $750 in immediate assistance. Hurricane victims can apply for a range of additional aid from FEMA. This includes Displacement Assistance to pay for hotel or motel stay while a hurricane sufferer works on their long-term housing plan. Also available: Home Repair/Replacement Assistance, Rental Assistance, Personal Property Assistance, Medical and Dental Assistance to cover disaster-related injuries, Funeral Assistance, and Child Care Assistance.
As of Friday, nearly 300,000 American homes and businesses were still without power a week after the hurricane. More than 220 Americans were killed by the hurricane, with hundreds more missing. Recovery efforts are still underway and some towns are still cut off from aid, only able to receive supplies via air.
Despite this, Harris posted on X: “The people of Lebanon are facing an increasingly dire humanitarian situation. I am concerned about the security and well-being of civilians suffering in Lebanon and will continue working to help meet the needs of all civilians there. --->READ MORE HERE

Nolte: Slow-Walking Aid to Hurricane-Ravaged Red America Is All Upside for Kamala:
Most of the areas ravaged by Hurricane Helene are filled with Trump voters. Asheville, North Carolina is a notable exception, but we’re four weeks and change away from a consequential presidential election and two weeks away from the start of early voting in these hurricane-hit states of Georgia (October 15), North Carolina (October 17), and Tennessee (October 16).
Two of those states (Georgia and North Carolina) are swing states. So I ask you…
What incentive do Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have to get Trump voters back on their feet when getting them back on their feet means they will be able to go out and vote against Kamala?
None.
Oh, you might still be naïve and think: People are suffering. Kamala wouldn’t withhold aid just to win a few votes!
What are you, an idiot?
To win a few votes, Joe and Kamala threw the Southern border wide open to fentanyl, killing a record number of Americans and abetting the sex trafficking of countless little kids.
To win a few votes, Joe and Kamala want to nuke the Senate filibuster to make baby-killing a “right.”
To win a few votes, Joe and Kamala advocate to permanently mutilate and sterilize underage kids as sacrifices to the LGBTQ+ lobby.
You don’t think those same people are capable of leaving a bunch of people they see as deplorable, ignorant, gun-and-Bible-clinging, redneck hillbillies without power for a few weeks if it increases the odds of winning a swing state?
Let me tell you something… If you handed Kamala a red button that would give every Trump voter stomach cancer, she would break a leg running to press it. Then she would press it four more times just to be sure. Then she’d have her husband Doug carry that red button around in his purse just so she could take it out, rub it like a talisman, and cackle at the memory. --->READ MORE HERE
