Ben Stiller, star of several comedy films such as “Zoolander” and “Meet the Fockers,” said in a videotaped interview with Nicholas Ballasy that he’s supporting Kamala Harris for president because “it’s time for change.”
It’s a case of fiction meeting reality. Stiller played a moron in “Zoolander.” And now — enter real life. Stiller was roundly mocked on social media; as he should be.
Still, the idea of an incumbent running for office on a message of change and reform has become a particular hilarity of the Democrat Party in recent times. That is to say: Stiller’s not the only one.
“Kamala Harris Confronted on Changes in Her Policy Positions,” Newsweek wrote just this week.
That’s polite.
A more-to-truth headline might read, ‘Kamala Harris flip-flopping on policy like a dying fish.’ She’s racing so fast to flee the very positions she’s taken both as senator and as partner-in-crime to President Biden’s tremendously ineffective and destructive White House policies, she’s giving Jesse Owens a run for his record — ba dum dum dum. “A new way forward!” — her campaign hilariously screams, hoping nobody notices they’re trying to run from themselves.
Seriously — she’s hardly a serious candidate.
But it’s not her fault.
The Democrat Party has screwed up America so badly in the last few years, they have zero successes to tout. Of course they want to campaign on change.
There’s Afghanistan and all those dead bodies, not to mention the now-muzzled women victims because of the Taliban.
There’s the economy, so tanked by inflation there are whole movements online dedicated to comparing grocery lists of the same items that are shopped today versus four years ago, when Donald Trump led — and reporting the shocking results of three times higher, four times higher, even more times higher food prices.
There are LGBTQ flags flying from the White House — LGBGTQ loons serving in federal agencies like Health and Human Services — LGBTQ nut jobs working with Democrats in teachers’ unions to strip parents of their rights to keep Johnny from becoming a Jane. --->READ MORE HERE
Throughout her political career, Vice President Kamala Harris has taken time during speeches and public events to define events or issues that most people are already familiar with.
It's a strange phenomenon that's now following Harris as she hits the 2024 presidential campaign trail in the place of Joe Biden, who spectacularly dropped out of the race last month.
Harris has a unique style of dumbing down her answers to the point they become more confusing to the general public and often throwing in an awkward laugh.
Other times, Harris skirts a question by defining the topic under discussion in plain terms but offering no clear answer, leaving audiences and hosts bewildered.
And she does it in her signature 'word salad' style that often convolutes her answers even more.
DailyMail.com breaks down the most cringeworthy explanations given by the presidential hopeful over the years:
In November 2021, Harris was asked about what the Biden-Harris administration would do to fight inflation.
'Let's start with this,' Harris replied. 'Prices have gone up, and families and individuals are dealing with the realities of — that bread costs more, that gas costs more.'
She continued, 'and we have to understand what that means. That's about the cost of living going up. That's about having to stress and stretch limited resources.'
Harris noted that she and Biden took the issue 'very seriously' and that it was a 'priority' for the administration.
In February 2023, Harris delivered a speech at a Congressional Space Medal of Honor ceremony, explaining to NASA astronauts about what it was like to blast off into space on a rocket.
'Bob and Doug returned to the Kennedy Space Center. They suited up. They waved to their families, and they rode an elevator up nearly 20 stories,' she began. 'They strapped in to their seats and waited as the tanks beneath filled with tens of thousands of gallons of fuel. And then they launched.'
'Yeah, they did,' Harris continued laughing awkwardly as the audience did not react.
