Russia-Ukraine war: Last Frontline update as of September 15

Since the beginning of September 15, and up to 10:00 PM, there have been 137 combat encounters on the front lines. The highest number of battles was recorded in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russian shelling

Today, Russian forces carried out 56 airstrikes on Ukrainian territory, dropping 83 guided bombs. Additionally, the Russian army deployed 428 suicide drones and conducted nearly 2,800 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and civilian areas.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to assault Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk. Additionally, Russian aircraft from Russian territory struck civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv (four guided bombs) and the settlement of Ruska Lozova (two guided bombs).

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted offensive operations near Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, Hlushkivka, Kruhliakivka, and Lozova. Eighteen battles have been completed, with two ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked the positions of the Defense Forces near Druzheliubivka, Kovaliivka, Tverdokhlibove, Nevske, Makiivka, Terni, and Novosadove. Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks.

In the Siversk direction, our troops repelled 12 enemy offensive actions in the areas of Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Viyimka, and Ivano-Daryivka. Currently, ten battles have concluded, with two still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy assaulted our positions near Stupochky and Kurdiumivka. Defense forces repelled all invader attacks.

In the Toretsk direction, 11 clashes occurred. The Russians attacked Ukrainian positions near Toretsk, Dachne, Shcherbynivka, and Nelipivka. All Russian attacks were repelled.
