99 clashes occur at front, Russia focuses on three directions - Ukraine's General Staff:
Since the beginning of July 17th, there have been 99 combat engagements on the frontline. Russian forces are most active in the Pokrovsk, Toretsk, and Kharkiv sectors
Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information as of 16:00.
In the Kharkiv sector, Russia is conducting attacks supported by aviation. The Russian army has carried out six airstrikes with guided bombs today alone. The number of engagements has risen to 15 since morning. Russia has concentrated its efforts around Hlyboke and Vovchansk, attacking in small groups, including a motorized rifle division. Currently, there is one ongoing battle near Hlyboke; all other Russian attacks have been repelled.
In the Kupyansk sector, Russian forces have intensified their assaults, attacking Ukrainian positions eight times near Synkivka, Andriivka, and Stelmakhivka. Ongoing battles persist in two locations near Stelmakhivka, where Russian soldiers launched unguided missiles from aircraft at Synkivka.
In the Lyman sector, there have been six Russian attacks today, half of which were successfully repelled by Ukrainian troops. Firefights are ongoing near Torske and Makiivka.
In the Siversk sector, Russia continues to attempt to improve their tactical position near Spirne, Vyimka, Fedorivka, and Verkhniokamianske. Today, there have been five combat engagements. Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks, while three others are still ongoing. Russian forces dropped an aerial guided bomb in the Dobropillia area.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces are attempting to storm Chasiv Yar with support from aviation, employing three aerial guided bombs. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled two additional attacks near Andriivka and Novomarkove. --->READ MORE HERE

Today, the number of combat clashes has increased to almost a hundred, so far 99 of them have been recorded
During the day, the Russian invaders intensified their offensives in several directions of the front. They use aerial bombs and manpower to try to break through Ukraine's defenses. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the day, the greatest activity has been observed in the Pokrovsk, Toretsk and Kharkiv directions. There, units of the Defense Forces restrain the onslaught of the occupiers and respond harshly to their attempts to advance.
Today, the number of combat clashes has increased to almost a hundred, so far 99 of them have been recorded.
The Russians are trying to storm the city of Chasiv Yar and have become more active near New York.

The enemy is attacking with the support of aviation, and has already carried out six airstrikes with guided aerial bombs. The number of clashes has increased to 15 since the beginning of the day. The occupiers concentrated all their efforts in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk. They attacked in small groups, up to the motorized rifle squad. Currently, one battle is taking place near Hlyboke, all other enemy attacks have been stopped. The losses of the invaders are being clarified.
The intensity of the assault actions of the russian occupiers in the Kupyansk direction has increased. The enemy attacked the positions of our units eight times. In particular, near Synkivka, Andriivka and Stelmakhivka. Near the latter, fighting is still ongoing in two locations. Terrorists fired unguided missiles at Synkivka from the army aviation.
Towards Lyman
Since the beginning of the day, six enemy assaults have been recorded, half of which were successfully repelled by our defenders. Clashes continue near Torske and Makiivka.
