The advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, said that Russia, having faced heavy losses during the fighting in Donetsk region, cannot create a 'striking fist' in Zaporizhzhia region
He wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the Russian forces continue to deploy troops to Zaporizhzhia region, in particular to the areas of Rozivka and Polohy. However, this week there has been a decrease in the rate of troop deployment.
In particular, Andriushchenko noted that the Russians have begun to form new units from personnel who were previously stationed at training bases in the Mariupol-Berdiansk agglomeration. The training period for these "stormtroopers" has been reduced to 10-15 days.
In addition, the Russian forces have replaced the lost S-300 systems in the Mariupol region by deploying a new system from the Berdiansk direction.
Andriushchenko noted that Russia does not have time to replace losses, and this complicates their plans to create a 'striking fist' in Zaporizhzhia. They are forced to move reserves from Zaporizhzhia to the area of Toretsk and Chasiv Yar, which indicates that a new wave of mobilisation is approaching in Russia.
Andriushchenko noted that without mobilisation, Russia will not only be unable to attack new positions, but "may also begin to experience a certain lack of resources for defence". --->READ MORE HEREFollow links below to +++++relevant+++++ and related stories:
