Large fire breaks out near St Petersburg, airport closed, authorities blame drone attack:
The Pulkovo Airport in St Petersburg, Russia, was closed on Sunday, 10 March, after a hangar caught fire, which spread over a total area of 1,000 square metres. Local authorities claimed that a drone was shot down in the area.

Details : Local authorities said that a hangar situated along the Volkhonskoye Highway in Leningrad Oblast was on fire; reports suggest that the fire spread over the area of 1,000 square metres. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations said that two people sustained injuries in the fire.
The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency said that a number of restrictions were put in place at the Pulkovo Airport at 17:00 in order to ensure the safety of civilian aircraft.
The fire was later contained and the restrictions at Pulkovo lifted.
Baza reported that restrictions at the airport were introduced because of an attempted drone attack on a St Petersburg production facility.
Aleksandr Drozdenko, Leningrad Oblast Governor, claimed that a drone had been shot down over Leningrad Oblast, in the vicinity of the village of Fornosovo. He said there were no casualties and no infrastructure was damaged. --->READ and WATCH MORE HERE
Ukrainian drone allegedly caused fire at Kursk oil depot, Russia:
On Sunday, March 10, authorities in the Russian city of Kursk reported a fire at an oil depot after a drone attack. In addition, a gas pipeline is on fire in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District of the Tyumen Region.
The governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, and the Russian Telegram channel Shot reported this.
According to Starovoit, air defense was operating in Kursk in the morning, and a Ukrainian drone allegedly crashed and caught fire on the territory of an oil depot.
The governor added that firefighters and emergency services are working at the scene. There were no casualties as a result of the UAV attack on the tank farm
According to SHOT, the drone damaged a 3,000-ton capacity tank. It was empty when the drone crashed.
In addition, the media reported that a powerful fire broke out on a gas pipeline near the village of Likhma in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District.
The fire's glow and smoke column were visible several kilometers away from the scene. The cause of the fire and information about the victims are currently being clarified. --->READ MORE HERE
