US is Facing Highest Risk of Terrorism in Years Over Israel-Hamas War: FBI Director; End the National-Security Crisis at the Border: A Test of Biden’s Brain

US is facing highest risk of terrorism in years over Israel-Hamas war: FBI director:
America is facing the highest risk of a terrorist attack in years following Hamas’ Oct. 7 invasion that left more than 1,200 Israelis dead, the head of the FBI warned Tuesday.
FBI Director Christopher Wray told the Senate Judiciary Committee that elevated threat levels are causing “blinking red lights everywhere” and the bureau was “working around the clock” to identify potential attacks inspired by Hamas.
“The threat level has gone to a whole ‘nother level since Oct. 7,” Wray said. “I have never seen a time where all the threats are all elevated, all at exactly the same time.”
While the FBI has yet to find any evidence that Hamas “has the intent or capability to conduct operations inside the US,” Wray warned that supporters or sympathizers of the terrorist group could launch attacks on the group’s behalf.
America’s bases around the Middle East have already been subjected to strikes following the outbreak of war, with the Pentagon confirming at least 74 attacks on US bases and troops since Oct. 17.
While Wray said the FBI was working to ensure no attacks occur domestically, he noted that the war has also led to a “troubling trend” of growing antisemitic and Islamophobic threats in the US. --->READ MORE HERE

End the national-security crisis at the border: A test of Biden’s brain:
President Biden set a new record this week: More than 12,000 migrants crossed the Southern border Tuesday, the most ever, eclipsing the prior high of 10,000 in a single day back in May, as migrants rushed to beat the clock before Title 42 expired.
In short, it’s not going to stop until the president (this one, or his successor) makes it stop.
Holding facilities are beyond full.
The situation is growing increasingly desperate: US Customs and Border Protection had 22,000 in custody along the Southern border as of Wednesday; maximum capacity is 21,000.
Keeping up with the flood has the CBP overwhelmed: This year alone, hundreds of thousands of migrants have made it into the interior without being stopped, Homeland Security chief Alejandro Mayorkas admitted in October.
How many of those “gotaways” are terrorists or foreign agents?
No one knows, but it’s another reason FBI Director Chris Wray says the nation now faces its highest terror threat in years.
Meanwhile, cartels have ramped up their trafficking of fentanyl and people over the border. Cartel-related violence near the border has surged. --->READ MORE HERE
