A total of 88 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defence Forces and Russian troops have taken place over the past 24 hours.

In total, the Russians launched 3 missile strikes and 20 airstrikes and carried out 53 attacks from multiple-launch rocket systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
Kozacha Lopan and Petropavlivka (Kharkiv Oblast), Shcherbynivka, Avdiivka and Pobieda (Donetsk Oblast) came under airstrikes.
More than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts came under artillery fire.
In the area of responsibility of the Pivnich (North) Operational Strategic Group on the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the Russians are maintaining a military presence in the border areas, conducting active sabotage activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to vulnerable areas, and increasing the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in Belgorod Oblast.
In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational Strategic Group on the Kupiansk front, the Russians conducted assault operations near Synkivka and northeast of Petropavlivka and Ivanivka (Kharkiv Oblast) and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk Oblast), where defence forces repelled seven attacks.
On the Lyman front, the Russians conducted unsuccessful assaults near Serebrianka Forest in Luhansk Oblast, where defence forces repelled four attacks. --->READ MORE HERE

A total of 88 combat engagements took place in the frontline on Dec. 2, with the Russians attacking mostly in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka sectors, the Ukrainian military’s General Staff said in its morning report on Dec. 3, the 648th day of Russia’s full-scale invasion and war.
In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy conducted assault operations in the areas of Synkivka, northeast of Petropavlivka, Ivanivka in Kharkiv Oblast and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Oblast, where the Defense Forces repelled seven attacks.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the area of Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk Oblast, where the Defense Forces repulsed four attacks.
In the Bakhmut sector, the enemy conducted assault operations in the areas of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Andriyivka and Klishchiyivka in Donetsk Oblast, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 21 attacks.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy, and consolidating their positions.
In the Avdiivka sector, the enemy, with the support of aviation, is continuing to try to encircle Avdiivka, but Ukrainian soldiers are holding steadfast, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
