Cartel Violence Rages in Mexican Border State Amid Shootouts, Threats:
An ongoing turf war between members of the Sinaloa Cartel and its once ally-turned-rival, the Caborca Cartel, has led to intense shootouts and multiple death threats. The threats include using a pig’s head and a funeral wreath, while others included a written message stuck to a victim’s chest with a knife.
The morbid threats first surfaced on Monday, soon after gunmen from the Sinaloa Cartel and the Caborca Cartel clashed in a series of firefights. The Caborca Cartel is an organization that was started by Rafael Caro Quintero — one of the founders of the Jalisco Cartel, the now-defunct organization that gave birth to the Sinaloa Cartel. Caro Quintero is currently jailed in Mexico fighting extradition to the U.S. in connection with the 1985 murder of DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena.
In one of the messages, gunmen left a funeral wreath with a message next to a pig’s head in Ciudad Obregon. In the message gunmen from the Carboca Cartel threatened a Mexican federal ministerial agent named Guillermo Aviles Encinas. The message called him a traitor and alleged the Sinaloa Cartel would not be able to protect him. --->READ MORE HERE

GOP erupts after Americans missing in Mexico: 'Cartels couldn’t ask for a better partner in crime than' Biden:
Republicans are sounding the alarm about the growing threat Mexican cartels face to the U.S. after four Americans were kidnapped in the country after crossing the border from Texas, the FBI said Sunday.
The FBI is trying to locate four Americans who were last seen Friday in the northern Mexico border city of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, an area that is notorious for warring factions of the Gulf drug cartel.
On Friday, "four Americans crossed into Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico driving a white minivan with North Carolina license plates. Shortly after crossing into Mexico, unidentified gunmen fired upon the passengers in the vehicle. All four Americans were placed in a vehicle and taken from the scene by armed men," the FBI said in a statement.
The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the victims’ return and the arrest of the kidnappers.
Tamaulipas state police said a number of people were also killed or suffered injuries on Friday but did not provide details on how many were affected or whether the incidents were connected. The violence that day was so bad that the U.S. Consulate issued an alert.
Republicans who spoke with Fox News Digital pointed to President Biden’s immigration policies as sharing the blame for the kidnappings, arguing that his lack of enforcement at the border has emboldened Mexico’s cartels. --->READ MORE HERE
